Revealing mistake: When Chekhov and Terrell see the Ceti Eels moving around in the tank for the first time, it's obvious that it's not sand in the tank. As the creatures move underneath, all the 'grains' move in unison, and not a single grain of sand is disturbed nor do they tumble over one another.

Revealing mistake: When Tee Hee bends the barrel of Bond's Walther PPK, in the close-up, the score marks where the barrel has been pre-cut are visible.

Revealing mistake: When Artim goes back into the cave to retrieve his little pet, we see that the creature is almost as big as his fist. When he grabs it, he closes his fist rather tightly, revealing that the creature is CGI, otherwise it would have been squished.
