Andromeda (2000)

Show generally

Plot hole: The way slipstream works is wildly inconsistent across the show. Sometimes, they have to travel a significant distance to find the nearest slip point, and other times, when it's required by the plot, there's a slip point conveniently right next to the ship.

Suggested correction: How is this a mistake? Unless the points are evenly distributed and all close to each other, they are going to be different distances away.

The Serene Squall - S1-E7

Plot hole: In Episode 1-7: The Serene Squall, the Enterprise is at the edge of Federation space, and it is stated that it would take two days for a message to be received by Starfleet. Later in the episode, they have no problem establishing a real-time connection to Vulcan, which, according to canon, is only 16.5 light years away from Earth.

The Maze Runner (2014)

Plot hole: At one point it is mentioned that they have tried everything to escape the maze, and that it is impossible to climb up because the ivy doesn't grow all the way to the top of the wall. Yet in the aerial shots the ivy is shown reaching the top of the walls.

Wonder Woman (2017)

Plot hole: How is it possible that Diana is unaware of the concept of marriage? She has a grasp of multiple languages and cultures and can recite Socrates. Socrates often spoke of marriage, so even if her people do not marry, it makes no sense that she is completely unfamiliar with this human custom.

Suggested correction: She has never seen a man either. She read about them, but never actually saw one. One might question why she doesn't understand a man if she read about them, and yet she doesn't. Same thing with marriage.

lionhead

She had never seen a man, but she knew that they existed. She speaks multiple languages, despite never having met someone from any of those cultures. My point is, if she's so well versed in world cultures, how has she never heard of the concept of marriage?

Plot hole: Unless Tanaka is lying, the fact that aircraft cannot fly INTO Las Vegas but can fly OUT of Las Vegas makes absolutely no sense. The whole point of a quarantine zone is to keep people INSIDE.

Skyscraper (2018)

Video

Plot hole: The entire plot hinges on the villain's gang obtaining the tablet that allows admin access to the building's systems. However, it can only be unlocked via facial recognition and it is keyed only to Will Sawyer's face. In fact, when they finally do get it, Xia unlocks it by holding it up to Sawyer's face. So what was the point of trying to steal the backpack containing the tablet? Without Will to unlock it, the tablet is useless.

The Fly (1986)

Plot hole: In any given volume of air, there are any number of tiny, living organisms; dust mites, viruses, bacteria, etc. Why did the teleporter combine Seth's DNA only with the fly that was in the chamber? If he had taken the "floating organisms" into account in his calculations and programming, then why would he not have excluded ALL foreign DNA?

Plot hole: When the trio are in Medusa's lair, there is no way Annabeth could have seen the gold Drachmas in the fountain from where she was standing. She would have to have been able to see around a wall and down into the basin of the fountain.

Daylight (1996)

Plot hole: The main accident is a crash involving toxic waste, which seals the tunnel, yet no one has any trouble breathing, or even has so much as irritated eyes.
