Continuity mistake: When Miller's men and the other captain's men find the French family hiding in a partly destroyed house, Caparzo goes up to get the kid and gives her his necklace, but in the following shot he's giving it to her again. In the shot after it's gone from the kids hand, then reappears again when he is walking towards Miller. (00:50:00)

Continuity mistake: After Caparzo has died from the sniper bullet, when Miller's men are grouped around Caparzo's body, Horvath is holding his gun in his right hand pointing it to the ground with his left arm by his side, but in the following shot, when Miller walks up, he is holding his weapon at waist height. Continuity mistake: In the opening scene, when old James Ryan's family is behind him in the wider shot, one of the three blonde girls at the back has her hair over her ear and her right hand down by her side. Continuity mistake: During the Omaha beach scene, when Miller, Horvath and a few other soldiers are at the front of one of the bunkers trying to get past the firing squad, he puts down his knife with the mirror attached and grabs his gun, holding it underneath, but in the following shot he is holding it at the top. Continuity mistake: Near the end, when Howard is in Quentin's place moving furniture, when he gets to the last chair near the fireplace in the overhead shot he just moves it with his foot, but in the following closeup he has his left hand on the marble above the fireplace. (01:32:20)

Continuity mistake: When Frank crashes his Pontiac after speeding away from Harry Heck, Heck pulls up and walks up to Frank who is climbing out of his car. As he walks up, a piece of car is on the right side of Heck, but after Frank kills Heck, it cuts to an overhead shot and the piece of car is now on his left. (01:04:00)

Continuity mistake: When Frank gets invited to dinner by his neighbours, after saying thanksgiving, the two guys leave leaving Joan and Frank alone to talk. In the first shot Joan is standing up from her seat, but in the following shot she is on the other side of the table (length ways, not width ways). (01:10:10)

Continuity mistake: When Saint's son is on the boat full of money, and he hears a sound, he has a cigarette in his right hand, but in the following shot the cigarette is in his mouth. (01:04:40)

Continuity mistake: When the three tenants of the apartment where Frank is staying come out of their rooms to investigate the noise, Joan walks up to the window and before she gets to the window crosses her arms, but in the following shot she is crossing her arms again. (00:38:20)

Continuity mistake: When Howard's men are beating up the guy in Howard's club, Howard walks in and points a gun at the guy on the floor. The guy is wearing a jacket which sits on his shoulders close to his neck, but in the following close-up the jacket has moved somewhat off of his shoulder exposing his top under the jacket. Continuity mistake: When Frank returns to his apartment after shooting the two guys in the lobby of the Saint building, the two tenants, the big guy and the small guy with the piercings fall out of the door and onto the floor. When they land the small guy has his left arm outstretched above his head, but in the following shot it is no longer outstretched. (00:50:25)

Continuity mistake: When Howard's men bail the guy out who was with Bobby Saint at the arms deal, they are beating him up in Saint's club. When Quentin says his line after grabbing the guy by the hair he sits back in his chair. In the wide shot his cigarette is under his hand and is about to take a puff, but in the following shot the cigarette is nowhere near his mouth and it is now in his fingers. (00:09:00)

Continuity mistake: When Frank and his wife are on the beach after Frank's dad's speech at the beach house, Frank's wife is putting her hand on his face and her hand changes position on his cheek between shots. (00:16:30)

Continuity mistake: When Frank sits up after being dragged out of the ambulance by his friends, he takes off his jacket with his hands/arms behind his back, but in the following shot his hands/arms have switched and are now at the front. (00:05:35)

Continuity mistake: When Howard's men have killed all of Frank's family and are chasing after his wife, they catch up with her and fire upon her 4x4. In the first shots her left brake light is out, but in the following shot its back on, and also if you zoom in you can see the stunt driver with two strong belts going down each shoulder. (00:25:40)

Continuity mistake: When Frank's family are at a beach-house, while his dad is making a speech Frank is looking at his wife, but in the following shot he is looking at his dad standing up with his right arm up to his cheek, which wasn't there in the previous shot. (00:15:05)

Continuity mistake: When Seamus, Deidre and Gregor are in an apartment just after Seamus comes out of the bathroom after beating up Gregor, he is holding a glass in his left hand after he pours the drink, then in the following shot the glass is now in his right hand. (01:13:20)

Continuity mistake: When the group is going over the Nice ambush, Sam gets up, closes the door and Deidre walks in from the kitchen and sits down. At the door, Larry is taking a sip of his drink, but in the following shot the cup is on its saucer and he is holding it with both hands. (00:31:15)

Continuity mistake: At the start of the Nice ambush for the silver case, the bad guys are shooting at Sam who is leaning against a grey car. He ducks behind it, but in the following wider shot Sam is still leaning against the grey car. (00:43:10)
