Continuity mistake: In the scene close to the end, we see crewmen of the ship pulling down a lifeboat, if you watch closely the plank that passengers sit on breaks off when falling onto the deck, but in the following scene it has repaired itself and is back on the lifeboat. (02:20:10)

Continuity mistake: Close to the end of the film when lots of people are trying to free the lifeboats from the ropes, you can see Cal, climb up a black wire and stand on the side of a half turned lifeboat, but if you watch closely in the following shot, you can see that Cal is still climbing up the black wire. Continuity mistake: When Jack and Rose are on the way to the end of the ship to try and stay on as long as possible, you can see them jump down from a railing, but if you watch when Rose jumps down, a woman also jumps down next to her and falls over, yet in the following shot she has vanished, then in the background she can be seen jumping down again. Revealing mistake: In this scene, at the end of the film when Jack and Rose are hanging onto the railing, you can see the ship split in half, but when it drops, if you watch closely on the right side of the screen, you can see that the entire ship is still intact, the lifeboat cranes are visible all the way down the top of the ship. Continuity mistake: At the very beginning of the film when Brock is talking with the big guy, they walk up stairs turn to the right, and right in front of them is a large piece of the ship with a no smoking sign on it, yet in the following shot, the large piece has turned into a very small piece, not even enough room for the sticker. Continuity mistake: When Jim stops for coffee in "Roy's Cafe," John sits opposite him, and if you watch closely in one of the shots, the plant behind Jim gets knocked over, yet a few shots later it's back upright standing in its container. (00:49:15)

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie after Jack has hooked up the crane from outside to the lift, there is a shot of the crane outside, and the line going through the vent. If you look closely there is a pipe in front of the vent, yet when the crane goes through the vent, the pipe has vanished. (00:14:20)
