Batman Returns (1992)

Continuity mistake: After Marcus kills Kraven, we cut back to Selene and Michael. As he talks about her saving his life and that how everything has changed, part of Selene's fringe switches from hanging in front of her face to tucked to the side between shots. In the closeup shots it hangs in front of her face and in the wide shots it is tucked to the side.

127 Hours (2010)

Factual error: In both scenes with Brian, Aron's boss, he is wearing a T-shirt that can be identified as being a product of the website www.someecards.com. This website did not launch until 2007, but the movie is set in 2003.

The Fifth Element (1997)

Continuity mistake: When the cops go looking for Korben and Leeloo in the fog, there are two orange light sticks hanging from the ceiling inside their car. From the outside looking in they are swinging from side to side very quickly. But from the inside looking out they are swinging from side to side very slowly.

Gone - S6-E11

Plot hole: For some strange reason, the guard at the arcade allows Buffy and Willow to leave the arcade with the invisibility ray-gun despite having absolutely no idea what it does.

THGhost

Normal Again - S6-E17

Factual error: After Buffy drags Xander down to the basement she locks the door and goes upstairs to find Dawn. When she locks the basement door, the handle is on the left side of the door and she turns the key to the right. In reality, a door with the handle on the left needs the key to be turned to the left to lock it. So Buffy did in fact unlock the door, not lock it.

Wrecked - S6-E10

Visible crew/equipment: When Willow and Dawn are running away from the demon, Willow uses magic to unlock a car for them to escape in. On the right side of the screen, shadows of crew members can be see as the car's doors open and are gone when Willow uses magic to make the car drive away.

Normal Again - S6-E17

Continuity mistake: After Buffy decides not to take the antidote to the demon's venom, we cut to a scene at the mental institution. She says she wants to go home with her mum and dad. As she says this her dad puts his hand on Joyce's left arm. In the following shot, Joyce suddenly has her right hand on top of his when it wasn't in the previous shot.

Underworld (2003)

Continuity mistake: Right before the morphing shot of Michael's apartment building number, 510, we see Kraven enter and then leave the room through some double doors. As he enters, one of the doors is fully open and the other is half open. When he leaves they are both fully open.

Aliens (1986)

Continuity mistake: As the marines first enter the med labs, Drake at the front, there are some neon tubes hanging from the ceiling that slowly rotate to face the camera. As the angle changes and Drake goes round a corner, the neon tubes rotate to face where the camera previously was again in the background.

Aliens (1986)

Revealing mistake: Right before Ripley discovers all of the eggs that the Alien Queen has laid, look at Newt's fingers as Ripley is carrying her - It's obviously a fake hand. Newt is in fact a dummy in this scene, and others preceding the chase from the Alien Queen. This dummy was created so that Weaver would not get exhausted carrying a real child around for so many scenes/takes.
