Revealing mistake: When Blackbeard threatens Jack with a pistol, he is heard cocking it, but when he holds it up to the camera we can see that it is only on half-cock. A pistol cannot be fired in the half-cock position, nor can it be loaded in the fired position, implying that either it is not loaded, or a technical error has been made by the film makers.

Continuity mistake: Right after Cordelia has her vision, Wesley goes to the whiteboard. In the "Case" column he writes "N.D.U.O." Underneath what looks like "CARYNSS" crossed out. But once they find out that it is a Prio Motu demon and Angel writes it on the whiteboard, "N.D.U.O." disappears even though Angel did not rub it off.

Continuity mistake: When Angel writes "Prio Motu" on the whiteboard and says that they need to find it and narrow it down to somewhere, Wesley says "I may be able to help us with that." In the immediate closeup of Angel, his stance has suddenly changed. In the previous shot he was standing with his arms straight down and his hands close together, but in the closeup they appear to be as though he has his hands on his hips.

Visible crew/equipment: When Batman comes through the skylights in the museum just after Vicki throws water on Joker's face, you can see the stunt cable that lowers Batman down. Batman does use a system of cables and grappling hooks because he has no superpowers, but the cable lowering him down disappears as soon as he hits the ground. It was used to lower the actor down safely, not the character.
