Speed (1994)

Continuity mistake: When the bus passengers notice Tuneman's Jaguar approaching, watch how Stephens (the tourist wearing a blue shirt and sunglasses) changes his position between shots. From the outside we can see him minding his own business and facing the front of the bus at first, possibly reading a book on his lap. However in the following shot he's suddenly got both arms leaning over the seat back and his head turned left. (00:36:25)

Speed (1994)

Continuity mistake: When Jack pulls the Jaguar alongside the bus and starts honking, Tuneman's right hand changes its position between shots. First he's got a grip on the vent window, but then all of a sudden his hand rests on the windshield's upper edge. (00:36:45)

Speed (1994)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jack pulls a gun on Tuneman, watch as Tuneman's hands change positions on the Jaguar between shots. At first he grabs the top edge of the windshield when pulling himself up to switch seats, but then his hands are placed much closer to the windshield's center all of a sudden. (00:35:10)

The Lion King (1994)

Continuity mistake: During Pumbaa's flashback scene in "Hakuna Matata" he pauses at the waterhole's shoreline for a drink. At first he's standing on dry ground, but then all of a sudden his front paws are submerged in water one shot later. (00:45:00)

Continuity mistake: When Jenny is searching for Oliver at home, she approaches the mail slot - where a folded piece of paper has been placed. But the paper unfolds on its own between shots. (00:49:40)

Revealing mistake: When Eddie's Plymouth skids out from R.K. Maroon's lot, a large section of the Red Car's railway track gets torn from the pavement with the greatest of ease - revealing that the track is actually just a set of metal strips laid out in the center of the road. (01:07:40)

Audio problem: When the Toon Patrol shows up at Eddie's door in search of Roger, they start knocking and the door shakes in response, but sometimes no sound can be heard to correspond with the door's movement as they knock. (00:40:45)

Speed mistake picture

Visible crew/equipment: A camera crane is visible in the bus's rear window reflection just as it enters the empty 105 freeway via police escort. (00:53:35)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: Just before Fagin sits down in his recliner to read a bedtime story for the strays, Dodger pushes a button on its armrest to tilt the seat. But one shot later, the button is nowhere to be found. (00:24:30)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: The number of steps on Georgette's dog bed staircase changes from time to time, depending on the shot. When Georgette is introduced, there are nine steps initially, but eleven steps appear instead as she descends to make herself up in the following shot. And later on when all of the strays trick Winston into thinking nobody is in the room, the staircase has eight steps. (00:33:00 - 00:45:05)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: After Fagin kicks off his waterlogged shoes and sits down in the recliner, Tito slides a pair of rabbit slippers over the wet socks on his feet. In subsequent shots, however, Fagin wears no socks. But then at one point he can be seen with the wet socks on his feet again all of a sudden. (00:23:25)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: During "Why Should I Worry", a pair of sunglasses lands on Dodger's head. In this shot we can see a woman walking her two dogs near the intersection. But watch as a green car appears from nowhere between shots, suddenly parked in the background right behind the dogs. (00:11:00)

ryguy_1983

Other mistake: In a close-up shot where Rita tells Roscoe that his master is calling, she is drawn without her figure from the neck down. (00:22:25)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: When Roscoe puts his nose up to Einstein's for being told to pick on someone his own size, Roscoe snaps back and says "Like you, old man?" But in the next shot, their noses are a couple of feet apart from each other instead. (00:20:55)

ryguy_1983

Revealing mistake: Just before a conveyor belt drops the vase upon Eddie's head, an overhead shot shows him pointing at Smart Guy, but actually Eddie points much further left in relation to where Smart Guy is standing. (01:25:10)

Speed (1994)

Continuity mistake: When McMahon is in a helicopter trying to guide the bus from downtown traffic onto a vacant freeway, the bus passes through the same neighborhood twice from one overhead shot to the next, roughly one minute later (pay attention to the recurring trio of flagpoles on the right, as well as a pair of cars that the bus overtakes). (00:48:55 - 00:49:45)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: When Georgette and the strays are on a catwalk overhearing a telephone conversation between Sykes and Winston, Tito - standing in front of Rita - disappears from the group between shots. (00:59:05)

ryguy_1983

Continuity mistake: Right before Tito and Oliver jump out from the side alley onto Jenny's limo, Tito places his arm around Oliver's shoulder. But between shots, the alley's surroundings change dramatically. The sidewalk vanishes, and a garbage pail & drain grate disappear as well. (00:29:40)
