Bones (2005)

The Feet on the Beach - S6-E17

Plot hole: Dr. Filmore stated that he was reading on Thursday May 9th and his arm stopped working. May 9th hasn't been on a Thursday since 2002. Hard to believe that he would be working for almost 10 years with his arms being paralyzed.

The Woman at the Airport - S1-E10

Plot hole: The surgical instrument that killed 'Susan' was the same one used on her jaw during her plastic surgery. 'Leslie" would not have been able to get the instrument to use to murder her and then put it back in the case, since it was still in the office in the case when Bones and Booth came to get it.

Turn, Turn, Turn - S9-E16

Plot hole: Episode 9-18, "Turn, Turn Turn": Greg states that the dead motel manager crawled up into the ceiling the same way that he did, and you see Nick open the access panel in the ceiling. The manager couldn't have closed the ceiling panel after him and no one was managing the hotel in the week he was missing. The panel should have been open when Nick came into the room. The new manager stated he didn't know if there was a panel in that room, since he just got there.

Time's Up - S4-E4

Plot hole: In Episode 4-4, "Times Up," it is stated that Kevin Murray will be killed at 9:45. When Mac is standing over the dead body, he looks at his watch. It is 9:45 and he says, "Right on time." Unless Mac was standing on the sidewalk when he flew out of the window, he actually would have died earlier, since it would have taken time for the police to be called and arrive on scene.

Show generally

Plot hole: Lizzie had the car towed to icebox canyon. When you see her watching the car being lowered onto Sara, there is no tow truck there, there is no sound of any machinery lowering the car, and when the shot pans back there is nothing there that would have helped her move the car. She is not strong enough to hold up a car, put an unconscious person under it while holding it up, and then lower it without some kind of winch.

High Octane - S5-E7

Plot hole: When Dex is doing the jack in the box ,he is hanging out the sun roof driving with his feet, using the cruise control. When he is decapitated, the body falls and the car spins out and stops. The car's cruise control was still on. The car should have kept going until the brake was pressed. Even if the body hit the brake on the way down, it would have coasted to a stop and not spun out and screeched to a stop.

Silent Night - S3-E12

Plot hole: In episode "Silent Night": When the mother checks on the baby in the first scene, you see the killer knock over the snow globe. The mother wouldn't have heard it since she was deaf, but she would have felt the vibration on the hardwood floor from the heavy object hitting the floor.

Plot hole: The survivors find their way to the internet lounge to send out a message via email about the terrorist attack. The ship was upside down. All satellite dishes used to transmit over the internet were completely submerged in water. Even if there was power to the computers, they would not have been able to get a server connection let alone send out email.

Under Suspicion - S4-E6

Plot hole: There is a large amount of blood found at Rachel Turner's apartment and it's determined to be Horatio's. He is subsequently arrested. Why wouldn't he be checked for a cut? To bleed that much would require a large cut and since it was only 24 hours it wouldn't have had time to heal, therefore proving that the blood although his had to be planted. That's too large an oversight by the police to just be a character mistake.
