The Three Stooges (2012)

Corrected entry: When Moe was a kid he had blue eyes, but when he grew up he had brown eyes.

Correction: It's not uncommon for eye colors to change. When my niece was a little girl, she had bright blue eyes but now they're more hazel in color.

Corrected entry: During the stadium scene, the clock shows 15:00, then, just before Bane kills the doctor, you can see the clock in the background show 14:44.

Correction: The 15:00 display is the game clock, not a time clock. The game was just starting. After the opening touchdown (by Hines Ward, a former Steeler), the game clock was down to the visible 14:44 because 16 seconds had elapsed.

Friends (1994)

Correction: People generally have two grandmothers. Just because her father ran off, doesn't mean that his mother abandoned her grandchildren so readily.

Poltergeist III (1988)

Corrected entry: The actor who played Scott didn't return with the rest of the family because he couldn't bring himself to do it because of actress Heather O'Rourke, who died shortly before the movie was finished.

Correction: This is untrue. The actor simply never got a call back to film the final scenes. http://www.poltergeistiii.com/scott.html.

Cyrano de Brady - S4-E5

Corrected entry: Jan introduces her school friend to Carol, Cindy and Bobby. Carol greets her with "Hi, Kerry, welcome to the neighborhood". Carol was not told that Kerry was new to the neighborhood. (00:01:55)

jairodrigue

Correction: Carol may not have been told on-screen, but it's likely that she had heard that a new family was moving in and that they had a daughter named Kerry.

My Girl 2 (1994)

Corrected entry: In one scene, a boy in the classroom admits to having the hots for Farrah Fawcett. The problem is this film takes place in 1974 and Charlie's Angels didn't premiere till 1977, so how could this boy even know who she was? At that time she'd only done small, unmemorable parts. Farrah was not a big sex symbol until Charlie's Angels.

Correction: Accordiong to imdb.com, Farrah started acting in 1969 and appeared in several popular TV shows in the early 1970s; I Dream Of Jeannie and The Partridge Family among others. The boy could easily have seen her in those shows and others.

The Pacifier (2005)

Corrected entry: After Shane gets a message from Julie Plummer that it would take a longer time to get the right password, Shane is talking with the kids. When they go to him, watch Lulu's eyes. When she goes to Shane, she is looking down at the floor to see where her tape mark is.

chrissepia

Correction: It's not uncommon for someone to glance at the floor while they're walking.

The Rookie (2002)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the movie when Dennis Quaid is wearing a ballcap, it just has the emblem of Jiffy Lube but not the words. Later in the movie when you see him wearing that hat, the words Jiffy Lube are on it with the emblem.

Correction: It's not intended to be the same cap.

Titanic (1997)

Corrected entry: The lifeboats have S.S. Titanic on them. It is pretty ironic James Cameron went through such trouble for authenticity when the real name would be R.M.S. Titanic.

Correction: The real Titanic's lifeboats were labelled "S.S. Titanic". An original nameplate from one of the lifeboats still survives to prove it.

Bewitched (1964)

Correction: Sam explained that she came back because she forgot her shopping list. She most likely left Tabitha in the car, intending to retrieve the list and then leave again.

The Brady Bunch (1969)

Brace Yourself - S1-E20

Corrected entry: Marcia gets braces, however in following episodes the braces have magically disappeared. Braces would never be put on someone unless they were going to remain for at least 6 months - the usual treatment at the time was 2 years.

Correction: True, but in many sitcoms the timetable is different from what it is in real life. For all we know, well over six months of time could have elapsed in the Brady's world between episodes, and Marcia had her braces removed. (Think about it: In the entire run of the series, for example, there was only one Christmas episode - but 5 real-life Christmases came and went!).

Cocoon (1985)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie when the boat is being raised out of the water to ascend to the spaceship, Steve Guttenberg jumps out of the suspended boat into the water by an inflatable raft. The camera is high and tilted down and you can see something sticking out of the water directly behind the raft. Another closer angle reveals that it is the head of a safety diver. A water level angle shows the diver quickly ducking under the surface.

Correction: What you saw wasn't the head of a safety diver but rather the snout of a dolphin. There's another one in front of the raft.
