Correction: This isn't really a mistake. When I was growing up in the 70's, if you called someone who had the same prefix as you (prefix meaning the first three numbers of a 7-digit phone number), you only had to dial the last four numbers of their phone number.

I Love Lucy (1951)
Corrected entry: The issue of Life magazine shown was the May 11, 1953 issue. In the episode, Lucy talks about the pictures of Ricky that began on page 43 but in real life, page 43 had only an editorial.
Correction: It can hardly be considered strange or in any way noteworthy that a fictional edition of a magazine referenced in a television programme would contain articles and other features that fail to correspond to the real-life edition of the same magazine. That's why it's fictional.

Corrected entry: When Megan empties the potting soil into the bowl of brownie batter, she mixes it in with her hand - yet when she withdraws her hand, it's clean. Her hand should have been covered with brownie batter.
Correction: If you look closely, the bottom of her hand is covered in the brownie batter.

The Green Mile (1999)
Corrected entry: When Coffey takes Edgecomb's hand and makes him see what happened to the two little girls, Edgecomb sees the killer enter the enclosed porch and step over a doll and some blocks just inside the doorway. But earlier in the film, when the girls' father and brother go looking for them, there are no toys at all near the same porch door. (Note: The doll found by the girls' father is not the same one that was on the porch, so it cannot be argued that one of the girls took the doll and later dropped it).
Correction: So the killer moved them out of the way when he was taking the girls out...no mistake. He likely had to drag at least one of them along, so that would certainly account for the toys being moved.

Batman Begins (2005)
Corrected entry: When Batman is being chased by the police, an announcement is made on the police scanner "Subject moving west on I-17." Odd-numbered interstates run north-south in the US; even-numbered ones run east-west. (01:36:20)
Correction: The numbering system you describe refers to the interstates predominant direction; however, many interstates curve and move different directions for long stretches. For example, I94 is an east-west highway (and is therefore given an even number), but part of it connects Chicago to Milwaukee. This stretch runs due north and south for about 75 miles. Sometimes police will describe the flow of traffic according to their actual direction instead of the name of the highway they're on. (This correction ignores the more obvious explanation: The Odd/Even system is not an absolute. In New Jersey, Route 3 runs east/west, as does southern New York's Rt.287 (which humorously connects directly to New Jersey's Rt.287 north/south- jwrosa).)

Superman III (1983)
Corrected entry: Two former "Our Gang" members appear in the movie. Jackie Cooper (Perry White) appeared in 15 of the shorts in the early 1930s, and Annie Ross (Vera Webster) was in "Our Gang Follies of 1938" when she was known as Annabelle Logan. She was the little girl singing "Loch Lomond".
Correction: It's hardly unusual for actors and actresses to appear together in more than one thing. Without some greater significance, like a scene which they both appear in which makes an intentional nod to whatever their prior work was, this cannot be considered to be valid trivia.

Airplane (1980)
Corrected entry: When Captain Oveur is summoned to the white courtesy phone, he picks up the red one at first and is told "No - the white phone." He replies "Oh." Just after his response and just before he hangs up the phone, a small higher-pitched sound is heard. According to Peter Graves in the commentary, that's the script supervisor stifling a laugh. Correction: After watching this episode over again and capturing the scene in suspect, it's exactly the same until Beaver looks down. That is where the extra lining is seen and it's only because of the angle that you can see it.
