Trivia: In the Cullen's garage scene Esme is actually not in the scene (this also has been revealed by the director Catherine) although Edward refers to her being there and throws one of Bella's jackets to her.

Trivia: In the restaurant scene you can tell that one of Edward's 'pauses' is sped up during his conversation with Bella. His eyes are downcast then flick up super fast to meet Bella's gaze. Although I doubt that this is to show his "vampire super speed" its still interesting to spot.

Continuity mistake: After the ill-fated birthday party, Edward drops Bella home in her car. After the kiss, in one shot Edward's face is very close to hers, forehead resting on hers. When it cuts, his face is far away from hers. (00:18:55)

Revealing mistake: When Bella and Edward return from Italy, Edward 'disappears' when Charlie enters the room. You can see behind the door when he is in the room that there is nowhere/not enough space for Edward to hide, but when Charlie leaves the room, as the door shuts, Edward steps out from behind it.

Continuity mistake: In the birthday party scene, as Edward sends Jasper flying with a shove, it first shows Edward pushing Jasper in a downward arc, the next cut shows Jasper flying up through the air as he hits the piano. (00:14:20)

Revealing mistake: As pointed out by the director, you can tell that Bella's eyes are "CGI'd brown" in the Bella/Jacob breakup scene in the rain. There is no "shine" in her eyes as would be natural, and the colour looks wrong.
