Continuity mistake: Observe the position of the material Robert uses to tie Celine and her hands. In the front shot both hands are resting flat on the arms of the chair but from above we see them hanging over the end. More obviously, when Robert secures her right arm, he ties her right wrist directly to the chair but for her left arm the material is tied over the sleeve of her coat. When the shot switches to overhead, we see the bonds on both arms are tied round the sleeves of her coat. (00:19:15)

Continuity mistake: When Robert is first attacked by the security guards he grabs a gun from them and warns them off. As they back away we see two baseball caps either side of him but when the shot changes to behind him there are three baseball caps directly behind him. Continuity mistake: When Sarah comes in with the tea and biscuits for Joe and Shanks, the amount of ceiling that Shanks has painted changes between shots without enough time for him to have done it. (00:17:50)

Continuity mistake: When Helen catches her boyfriend in the act, we see very briefly that there is a gap between the bedside cabinet on which the radio cassette player is sitting and the wardrobe. This is more clear when her boyfriend switches off the music. Later when the other Helen comes home and her boyfriend leaps onto the bed to hide the earring we see they are much closer. Factual error: After the scene where Bourne is returning to his hotel to find the police surrounding it he smashes a police car window to take a "wanted" poster from the front seat. This poster is titled "Gesucht" which is German. Requests for assistance from another police force would not simply be a matter of faxing a wanted poster to the nearest police station over the border. The request would be given to a national body who would then have translated the request to French before distribution.

Continuity mistake: During the scene where Phoebe is telling Rachel that Paolo made a pass at her, Rachel unrolls a long length of kitchen roll. During the scene there is a shot over her shoulder where we see that the kitchen roll is as normal and in the next shot we see it unrolled again. (00:15:30)
