Trivia: After we see the Disney ride scene at the jail, where the pirates are trying to get the dog to come near them with a bone, Jack Sparrow says to the pirates "You can keep doing that forever, that dog is never going to move." Besides the obvious visual reference to the ride, the line's relevant too - as in the Disney ride, the pirates *will* keep doing that forever, and the dog *is* never going to move. (00:27:20)

Continuity mistake: As Will is telling Gov. Swann and the Commodore that Elizabeth has been taken, his right sleeve is folded up broadly to just below his elbow. After Will slams the axe into the map, which should have, if anything, brought the sleeve down, the sleeve is higher and more tightly rolled. (00:41:20 - 00:42:05)

Trivia: The hotel in San Francisco where they're all supposed to meet is the Stafford Hotel. In the original film, Stafford was the name of the boyfriend that twin Susan, playing Sharon, makes up to excuse talking to her mother about her father.
