Tremors (1990)

Revealing mistake: As the last Graboid falls off the cliff at the end, just before it hits the ground, you can see its skin has already been cut up for the "blood" to gush out of upon impact. (01:25:20)

Question: Why does Yoda seem so "childish" when Luke first meets him in the swamp? I mean in comparison to Episode III when he seemed much wiser. Is there any reason for this?

James Ollier

Chosen answer: Yoda was testing Luke. Luke was looking for a great Jedi warrior and expected to find this great man or creature, not a short, little, funny, "weak", creature. Yoda knew Luke must get past preconcieved ideas and conceptions of what it takes to be and become a Jedi. Luke failed this initial test.

Answer: It's a trope popular with many of the Asian films (and some fantasy books) that inspired Lucas' original trilogy. The powerful master is often encountered first as a seemingly harmless (or meaningless) person only to unveil themselves later to the protagonist's surprise. In many respects, it's like Obi-wan's first appearance in A New Hope.

Madagascar (2005)

Audio problem: Near the beginning, when the two metal monkeys strike the Central Park Zoo bell, it makes two different tones. As it's the same bell they're hitting, and they hit it at the very same vertical axis, it should make the same tone both times.

Continuity mistake: The lower lid of the Phantom changes from looking normal (when he's got his mask on) to deformed (when he takes the mask off). No makeup could hide that and considering the size of the mask's holes, this should be easily visible at all times.

Continuity mistake: When Larry takes the box out of the wall, it turns itself around from when he's holding it, to when it's on the floor (keep an eye on the box's padlock). (00:54:50)

Pitch Black (2000)

Continuity mistake: When the guy with glasses (Paris) is chilling with his fan, there is some material stuck out between his right ear and his right shoulder. In the next shot when he retracts the fan, it's gone. (00:23:45)

Envy (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Jack Black and Ben Stiller are watching the baseball practice, there's a shot where the camera is behind them, and there's a lady in a pink cowboy hat sitting directly in front of them. In the next shot, shes moved to their right by about 3 feet.

Super Size Me (2004)

Continuity mistake: When "Lefty" is at the car crash site, you see a blue mobile home going down the road, but it is not there in the next shot. (You may not be able to see this in the full screen version (4:3)).

Revealing mistake: A sign's wooden support gets shot at the beginning, but you can see where the pre-prepared weak point is in the support before it gets "shot."

Hellboy (2004)

Revealing mistake: When Professor Broom's coffin is being carried, it is raining, and the camera is overhead, no rain falls in the centre of the picture, as the camera is in the way. (01:20:00)
