Silent House

Continuity mistake: After Sarah finds her father in the bedroom and goes downstairs to get help, the blood pattern on her shirt/upper breasts changes. While the movie is edited to look like one continuous shot, it was filmed in bits and pieces, and the blood pattern was not consistent in some of the shots, it seems.

Peter: Man, you've really grown up.

Sarah: Come on, don't be shy.

Question: What is the meaning behind the title? Could it be that what happened in Sarah's childhood was kept silent from other people, thus covered up?

Answer: That's exactly what it meant. The sexual abuse Sarah suffered as a child was hidden and kept silent.
