Legally Blonde

Audio problem: In the scene after Reese Witherspoon and Luke Wilson are returning from questioning the ex-wife of the murder victim at a spa, they are driving up in Luke's car. You can clearly see, as they get closer to the camera, that what you hear Luke saying isn't what his lips are saying. It was a very obvious dub over...and a very bad one.

Legally Blonde mistake picture

Revealing mistake: In the scene where Reese Witherspoon is entering the elevator after being harassed by her mentor, you can see Selma Blair's reflection in the plaque right before her cue. You see her reflection right before the doors close, so you know she was waiting for the cue. (01:12:20)

Revealing mistake: When Elle is talking to Paulette on the cell phone, while waiting for the water, the woman before her goes to the water fountain, and you see her. She doesn't drink any water. She just puts her mouth next to the fountain. It is extremely obvious.

Trivia: There is a scene in the movie where Elle is laying in bed watching an episode of General Hospital, depressed that Warner dumped her. In the same scene, Amy, one of the sorority girls, knocks on the door to make sure she is ok. Kimberly McCullough, who plays Amy in the movie, played Robin on General Hospital.

Trivia: Although many people may not catch it, the "Harvard" in which the movie is set is actually the University of Southern California campus. If you look very closely in the background, the University's trademark buildings are visible.

Trivia: Right at the end of the scene where Warner breaks up with Elle, Elle is crying loudly and Warner remarks to the other restaurant patrons, "Bad salad." Elle then gets up and storms out of the restaurant, and Warner stands and calls, "OK, you get the car, I'll get the check!" At that point, if you listen closely, you can hear an extra say, "I'm not having the salad!"

Elle: And last week I saw Cameron Diaz at Fred Segal, and I talked her out of buying this truly heinous angora sweater. Whoever said orange was the new pink was seriously disturbed.

Paulette: So what's a girl to do? He's a guy who followed his pecker to greener pastures. I'm a middle aged, high school drop out with stretch marks and a fat ass.

Elle: That's great, Paulette. Is that the only interaction you two have ever had?
Paulette: No! Sometimes I say "okay" instead of "fine."

Question: In the scene in the library, where Elle gets turned away from Vivian and Warner's study group, she and Enid get into an argument, where Enid remarks, "Like when you called me a d*ke and then voted against me?" to which Elle then accuses Vivian of saying it. What scene are they talking about?

Answer: Enid is accusing Elle of being a stereotypical, snooty sorority girl, like the ones who had obviously been cruel to her in the past.

Brian Katcher

Answer: It's not a scene in the movie, and presumably didn't actually happen as Elle protests her innocence.

Question: What the heck was Enid talking about with Warner at the party?

Answer: She was talking about the word "semester." Since it is similar to the word "semen," Enid says that the word favors males. She wants to change it to "ovester." Since that word is similar to the word "ovary," it would favor females.

Paul Christian Pepiton

Answer: In hair terms, a fringe, the piece that hangs in front of your eyes. Seems to be just a US term.
