Continuity: When Vigo throws the streams from the proton packs back onto the Ghostbusters, there is a wide shot of Egon getting thrown way over to the right. However, when they do a closer shot, he is way over to the left, closer to the other three Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters 2 mistakes
Revealing: During the courtroom scene, one of the ghosts grabs the prosecutor and she is hanging upside down. Her dress comes down a little, but when she is about to fly through the door you can see part of the dress is pinned to her panty hose to stop the dress from falling off.
Continuity: Near the end, the Ghostbusters make the Statue of Liberty smash the window on the roof of the art museum before abseiling in. The window gets completely destroyed, but just after Vigo says 'Now we become one' we see the window again and it appears less damaged than before.

The sound of Vigo growling is exactly the same growl that the terror dogs from the first Ghostbusters make.
Slimer had no name in the first Ghostbusters movie, but the producers nicknamed him "onionhead" because of his awful smell. He was named Slimer in the cartoon series "The Real Ghostbusters." The name came from the scene in Ghostbusters where Ray shows Winston the containment unit and says, "This is where we store all the vapors and entities and slimers we trap." Since Venkman was slimed in the hotel, they decided to name the ghost that did it Slimer.
At the beginning of the film, when Ray and Winston are at the children's party, the kid that says they're full of crap is Ivan Reitman's son, Jason. The girl with the puppy at Egon's institute is Ivan Reitman's daughter, Catherine.
