First Wives Club

Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, as Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn sing the song "You Don't Own Me," watch Goldie's shoes. For the first portion of the song, which takes place inside, she is wearing spiked-heel shoes with multiple straps. Then, as they dance through the doors onto the street, she is wearing shoes with a single strap and a much thicker heel.

Continuity mistake: When the three ladies are singing 'You Don't Own Me', they stand up and put their coats on. In the back shot, Goldie Hawn's hand gets caught in Diane Keaton's coat sash, but next front shot Goldie's hand is suddenly free.

Continuity mistake: When Elise, Annie and Brenda decide to make their own first wives club, Elise's glass of wine is almost empty, but when they throw their rings in the glass, it is almost full.

Suggested correction: The glass the ladies throw the rings in is Annie's glass. If you watch when Annie takes a drink from her glass, the rings are in it.
