Mistakes
In the extended DVD, when Gimli quips, "That's not bad for a pointy-eared Elvish princeling!" the back shot of Legolas shows him 'toying' with his bow, but in the front shot, his hands are apart holding the bow. See more...
Trivia
During the location shooting at Edoras, there were very strong winds, as can be seen by the actors' hair, especially Éowyn's. During one particular day's filming, the wind was so strong that it tore Peter Jackson's glasses right off his face, and was blown straight down the hill. Merry and Pippin were bound when taken by the Uruk-hai, and the bonds weren't cut until after they managed to escape during the fight. Yet, when the horse almost crashed down on Pippin, he had his arms spread out up near his face, not bound, even though they weren't cut until later. In the next shot, his hands are bound again.
