Continuity mistake: When Daffy tells his wife "If you'll just let me explain, " you can see the back of his tail has no feathers on it. But when his wife tells him to pick up his face and sit on the nest, his tail is covered with feathers.

Continuity mistake: When Daffy is sitting in the nest, his tail gets blown by a stick of dynamite and you can see the nest is by a tree. But when we see Daffy sitting in his nest a little later on, there is now no tree.

Continuity mistake: When we see Daffy sitting on the nest, there is a green bush behind him that disappears in the very next shot.

Continuity mistake: When Daffy paints a hand grenade white to throw at the crocodile, he leaves a tin of paint by the nest containing the real egg. But when Daffy's wife puts him on the nest after the hand grenade blows up, the paint is nowhere to be seen.

Trivia: "Quackodile Tears" was Arthur Davis' final cartoon as director for Warner Bros. Many printed sources erroneously credit Friz Freleng with directing this cartoon.
