Continuity: When Leroy barricades the metal door, her uses a mop. He puts the mop inside a drawer, and the mop head hangs out of the drawer. Later on when the Woman and Man come back, we can now see the mop head is tucked inside the drawer.

Continuity: When Fool goes over and starts throwing rocks into the pond, the brown paper bag beside his foot keeps moving between shots.

Continuity: When Fool first goes into the basement and pulls the TV back to hold up the lighter to the slats, you can see mesh over the wood. Yet minutes later, Fool sees one of the people under the stairs reaching through the slats to pull the TV back into position and there is no mesh.

Continuity: When Fool and Leroy first encounter Prince, they secure him in the room beside the kitchen, with the door to the outside closed. Yet when Mummy and Daddy return, the dog somehow has managed to get out of the super-secure house to greet them.

Visible crew/equipment: When Fool and Alice are sliding down the chimney after Fool hits Daddy with the brick, you can see the cable supporting the two as they descend.

Revealing: In the scene where Alice shows Ruby (Fool's sister) the pantry, Ruby then turns and walks towards the front door. If you keep your eyes on the actress that plays Alice, you can see her break out of character for a moment and then laugh in the background.

Revealing: Fool hits the Woman with a fire poker on her shin but she screams in pain and grabs and rubs her knee.

Plot hole: Why is it possible for the people under the stairs to bust through the walls and stairs but not through the wood slats that keeps them in downstairs? Especially after the boards have been weakened by gunshots.

Continuity: In the very beginning, Fool falls down the basement stairs when the man pulls the lever to make the stairs a ramp. He is wearing a purple and black striped shirt. Later, near the end, Fool goes back into the basement on the same stairs. This time, he is wearing a green shirt. When the man chases him and pulls the lever again, we see the same footage of Fool rolling down the stairs/ramp from earlier (black & purple shirt). When Fool gets back on his feet, his shirt is green again.

Revealing: When Fool is in the bathroom and the father pokes his head through the door (after firing a rifle at it) turns to Fool who smashes a concrete slab on his head. The blood mark in on the father's right temple, but he was clearly hit in the middle.

Continuity: After Fool sets off the explosion sending the money out the chimney, there are about five minutes of different scenes, and then we see the chimney a little later, and it's still sending money.

Revealing: When Alice is forced to sit inside the bathtub of scalding water, as the Woman pushes her inside it, it is quite obvious that the steam rising from the tub is actually coming out from under the tub.

Continuity: When Fool first arrives at the house, dressed as a bear trooper, the whole lawn is sunny and bright. In the next shot the house casts a huge shadow over the lawn, making it dark.

Continuity: When Fool falls downstairs, the hatch in the door is open (and sunlight streams through it) but when Roach chases after him and Fool runs back up again, the hatch is now closed.

Audio problem: When the Man and Woman are talking in front of the fire about evicted Fool's family, when the Woman says "And the money" in a side shot, her mouth/jaw doesn't move.

Continuity: When Roach runs up the cellar stairs after Fool, and grabs his feet, we see one of Roach's fingernails fall off. In the next shot the nail has vanished from the floor and isn't seen.

Continuity: When Alice is pushed into the blood to mop it up, the bucket of water sits beside the dining room rug. In the next shot it is suddenly in the middle of the blood with Alice.

Continuity: When Fool tips Alice's dolls onto her bed, in the next shot the pile is positioned differently.

Continuity: The amount of blood on the side of the Man's face changes alot through the movie, especially in the cellar scenes.

Continuity: When the Man and Woman have lost Alice, they look in the kitchen to find her, and the Woman starts opening up some cabinets and in the process she leaves some of the doors open. Then in the next shot, the cabinet doors that are open have now changed, and some doors that were open in the previous shot are now closed.
