Factual error: Throughout the movie, the setting takes place on Io which has a gravitation that is roughly one fifth of that on earth, very much like our moon. In real life all characters would be bouncing like kangaroos and all objects dropped, float like feathers. Even so, whatever the pull, it affects all objects equally and in the same direction meaning it would be impossible for Spotas dead body to float in the jail cell in a no-gravity manner while his blood drips upward (away from the surface i might add).

Outland (1981) - 6 mistakes
These mistakes are currently being ordered by time. Entries without times will appear at the end.
Directed by Peter Hyams, starring Sean Connery (add more)
Continuity: The name patch on O'Niel's uniform changes between "O'Neil" and "O'Niel".
Continuity: During the infirmary scene where the prostitute is having her injuries examined, Dr Lazarus hands a plastic transparent folder to O'Niel, he then walks towards a door holding the folder in his right hand (filmed from behind) but when he goes through the door (filmed from the front) O'Niel is holding the folder in his left hand.
Continuity: During a fight between two spacesuited men outside in vacuum, you can see the bare wrist of one of them when he stretches his arm out and the suit sleeve comes out of the glove.
Continuity: When O'Niel is in Sheppard's office, watch the how the whisky glass in Sheppard's left hand changes position three times in between shots.
Deliberate "mistake": O'Niel needs a sample of a dead man's blood to test for toxic drugs. So he visits the corpse, which has been dead for quite some time and is lying on its back, and proceeds to insert a hypodermic syringe into the dead man's frontal neck, extracting the sample. But blood pools low in the body soon after death. There ought to have been no blood available from that location of the body. To get blood, O'Niel should've punctured the corpse's underside.
