Factual error: In the beginning scene in the locker room, Taylor brings up his Glock and calls it the "Glock 19", however a shot shows the pistol's trademarks, displaying it as a Glock 22.

Factual error: Very early in the movie, in the locker room shot, one of the officers begins to show off his gear to the camera. One of the items he boasts is a "Spyderco tactical knife." The knife is actually a Smith & Wesson first response assisted opening knife, model SW911B. (00:04:45)

Continuity mistake: The chronology of the date stamp used during the police camera footage is accurate, starting from 04/11/11 and ending at 08/17/11. However, officer Taylor fills out his paperwork after a bust dated 8/19/12.

AngryBird

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Mike are checking out of the burned mini van, if you look out on the street you'll see the Detectives' crown vic still parked out by the street, but then they roll up and it's the same car.

Continuity mistake: Early in the movie there is a fight scene between one officer and a thug. After the officer wins the fight he says "gimme the hooks" meaning the handcuffs. When he first gets the handcuffs, he holds them way high in the air, his hand extending above his right ear. Then we switch to a rear shot and you can see that the officer is now holding the handcuffs straight ahead, not way up in the air.

Brian Taylor: Dude! Don't swear, man, I have to edit that out when you swear.
Mike Zavala: Oh, fuck! Oh, shit, dude! Fuck, man!
