Continuity: When Jewel is having dinner at the lawyer's house and the lawyer is putting ketchup on his food, watch the position of the food.  First the hamburger is in front and the potato salad is in the back, then the potato salad is in the front and the hamburger is off to the side, you can barely see it.

Continuity: When Matt Dillon is talking to Michael Douglas at the bingo hall, the caller calls out "O 18".  Later in the film during a different game, it's called again. All Bingo junkies know that the "O" numbers are 61 thru 75.

Revealing: When Liv Tyler is washing the car, after she squeezes the sponge onto her chest and leans down, the next shot is shown in reverse - the soap and the water travel upwards.

Continuity: When Carl watches Matt Dillon "rescue" Liv Tyler from the car, we see Dillon chase the car while Liv Tyler takes off the top of her dress. Two shots later, she is taking it off again.

Continuity: When Matt Dillon first meets Liv Tyler, after he says, "And there she was," when she turns her dress is off her left shoulder, but in the next close-up her dress is properly on her shoulder, then in the next shot it's down again.

Continuity: When Matt Dillon is watching TV ("I was watchin a lot of cable") there is a sack on the table beside him, but in the next shot the sack disappears and there is a different table lamp, and a newspaper and vase on the table. Then when he stands up, there is a piece of decoration behind the chair that wasn't there before.

Continuity: When Matt Dillon's character is driving along in the stolen car in the final chase he is talking on a regular cell phone, but when we pan back to the car in another shot it is a carphone instead.
