Oliver and Company (1988) - 7 mistakes
starring Bette Midler, Billy Joel, Cheech Marin, Joseph Lawrence (add more)
Continuity: During the "Why Should I Worry" song, Dodger goes with his "scarf" of sausages through a basin full of wet cement. Logically the cement should be stuck on the sausages, though that does not appear to happen, even though the sausages went through the cement. There is cement on his paws, though, that he needs to wash off.
Continuity: As the movie begins, on the sidewalk in front of a store there is a box filled with kittens and a sign reading "Kitties - need home." The words "need home" are in all capital letters. In the close-up, only the "N" is capitalized and the rest of the words are in small letters.
Continuity: During the song 'Perfect Isn't Easy', when Georgette is going to her big pillow by all the pictures, there is a pink little pillow near it with nothing on it. Next shot there is another picture that she picks up that is on the pillow.
Continuity: While talking to Sykes on the pier, Fagin falls into the water. As he walks back inside, water is dripping from his hair and clothes. He then sits in a chair, but there is no water on the floor where he has walked.
Other: Immediately after Fagin deposits Oliver and the dogs on the sidewalk, Oliver has no shadow. Then, a few scenes later, neither Oliver nor Tito have a shadow.
Continuity: In the "Why should I worry?" song scene, the read scarf on Dodger's neck appears and disappears between shot, for instance, it is not shown when he is on top of the woman's car nor after but when he scares the woman it is visible on his neck.
