Buddy tries to kill off Sherman by drinking an elixir that will keep him from turning back. Sherman stops him from doing it in front of his parents, the dean of the college, and Carla. He gives a speech about loving and accepting yourself, finally hooks up with Carla and he also gets the science grant.
