Continuity mistake: In the scene where Adam and his parents are in the Doctor's office, after his mother states that she doesn't like the lady behind the desk, she gets up to look at a picture on the wall. Her hair is tucked in her jacket. In the next shot, her hair is back out.

Adam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) has to have his tumor surgically removed and before he does, he makes amends with his parents, Kyle (Seth Rogen), and tells Katherine (Anna Kendrick) he wants to date her. Adam survives his operation and makes a full recovery. The final scene is Adam and Katherine going on a date and Katherine asks Adam what's next. He smiles at her and the movie ends.

Question: There's a scene toward the end of the movie where Adam sits down with his therapist (Katie). The camera shows a full frontal body shot of Adam as he's sitting down. His pants are wet. It looks like he urinated in his pants. But his wet pants aren't addressed. I don't think I missed anything. Or did I?

Answer: His pants only look wet because of the lighting. The color of the pants and the shadows make it look that way but they aren't really wet.
