There are two scenes in the highway chase sequence that are taken directly out of Michael Bay's film "The Island". The scene where one of the Decepticons lands on a car's hood and the scene where you see a SUV being flipped in the air when the Decepticons are running. Other: In the flashback of Sam getting the medal and him meeting Carly, Carly takes a picture of herself in front of the Presidential Plaque. But the angle of the picture is totally different to what's happening.

Continuity: When Simmons kisses Mearing, it changes from sunset to night almost instantly.

Continuity: During the Mexican Standoff, Ironhide finally forces the spike into the face of one of the Dreads and lifts him up by it. Pay attention to the red car underneath: when Ironhide smashes the Decepticon's face, the windshield is fine, but when he puts him down, the windshield is suddenly damaged - before the Decepticon lands.

Continuity: When Carly shows Sam the stuffed bunny, her hair is curly. Then when she jumps on the bed, her hair is straight.

Continuity: Just before the soldiers jump out of the Osprey, there is a shot of them running for the exit. You can see a very big gun on the soldier's chest. But in every shot of them wingsuiting through Chicago, none of the soldiers can be seen carrying any kind of weapons, let alone big LMG's and assault rifles which they use after landing.

Continuity: When Ironhide crashes into the remaining dreads and transforms, one of the dreads is shown falling into some kind of wooden box covered with glass breaking it apart. In the next shot the Decepticon stands up and the debris is not visible.

Continuity: In the scene where Sam and Carly are trying to get into the Autobot base, Carly is wearing a black jacket, after Sam sees Bumblebee, she is wearing a brown one, and inside she has a black one on again.

Continuity: When Sam and Carly are trying to get into the the secret Autobot base, Carly has a white skirt on, but later when she is talking to the CIA woman in her office, Carly is wearing a grey jersey over the skirt.

Visible crew/equipment: In the shot of Optimus driving along with the Driller, part of a camera mount can be seen in the reflection of Optimus' chrome grille. It's definitely not something next to the road, since it's moving at the same speed.
