Continuity: There is a scene at the school, where Quentin and Nancy are talking by the lockers. Quentin is wearing a Joy Division shirt. The jacket he is wearing over the shirt keeps changing depending on whether it's a closeup of Quentin or a shot of both him and Nancy. You can easily tell, as the band's name is partially obscured during closeup and fully revealed when it's further away. This changes back and forth several times during that scene. Quentin doesn't move enough to warrant the jacket changing so noticeably.

Continuity: When Nancy is in the drugstore and she keeps slipping in and out of sleep, Freddy is walking toward the camera running a finger blade on a pipe, and you can see there is a raised pipe joint just before the camera cuts to a rear view of Freddy, and the pipe joint that his finger blade was going to scrape has now gone.

Continuity: In the diner, a guy puts a bunch of dollar bill and coins on the edge of the table. From the opposite angle its position changes.

Revealing: In the first scene in the diner, as Freddy pulls the knife across Dean's neck, look at where the blade should be. The blade should be visible in the small gap between his neck and the handle, but there is nothing there.

Continuity: Kris' blood splatters onto Jesse's left sleeve just before her body drops down from the ceiling. The tiny splatters disappear from the sleeve when Jesse bends down to see if Kris is okay.

Continuity: The amount of Kris' blood on Jesse's t-shirt changes constantly when he's running from Nancy's house.

Other: When Nancy is in the hospital after the drug store seen, after her mother signs the paper work to sedate her, you can see the claw on the actress playing the nurse when she pulls the curtain back to reveal Nancy is no longer there.

Continuity: When Quentin opens the shoe box with photos in, he places the lid on the floor. In the following shots, the lids position changes from when he put it down.

Continuity: When Gwen is looking at the photo album just after Dean's funeral, she turns a page and there are no photos on either page as you can see. When the camera changes, two photos have appeared on the one page.

Continuity: When Nancy and Quentin are talking in the hallway, Quentin's hands are constantly moving instantly.
