Continuity: When the killers truck drives off the bridge, the right headlight gets destroyed and goes out in the roll. A few seconds later, it is lit again.
Continuity: During Lisbeth's first meeting with her new guardian and since questions about sex, her head positions are different between back/front shots.
Visible crew/equipment: During the trip on a train, a camera is visible in the window.
Factual error: During one of Blomkvist's flashbacks to his childhood with his babysitter (about 40 years ago), he is wearing Lightning McQueen shoes.
Plot hole: In the movie when the girl looks at the books of Martin and his father on the business trip, he is there in his boarding school sweater with his father. But we are later told by Harriet he didn't get sent to boarding school till after she killed her father. Therefore the sweater would not have been a clue in the early part of the movie.
