Factual error: When they are getting the passports checked they are supposed to be in Germany. The police uniforms are Norwegian and all the signposts are in Norwegian. (01:28:30)

Factual error: During their court-martial sentencing they are dishonorably discharged and then sent to prison instead of being discharged after prison. They would still be in the military while serving time at a military prison.

Continuity mistake: In the pan around scene Face is shown with the 5th tire being put on him, on the ground scene he only has 4. (00:05:22)

Movie Medic

Continuity mistake: When they escape from the hospital, the Hummer has its nearside rear tyre shot out, but when they ram the security hut and drive up to the plane the offside rear is now shot out. Then the nearside rear is perfect.

Other mistake: When Pike chases after BA by rappelling down (using his suit jacket and hand to do so), he uses the same rope Hannibal used to get into the building. Hannibal is seen with a rope bag and when he escapes into the building several stories below, he is seen unhooking but not throwing the bag out the window. Unless that had happened, Pike wouldn't have been able to use the rope to descend to the sidewalk.

Trivia: Just before Hannibal, Face and BA break Murdoch out of the hospital by driving the hummer through the wall, watch the credits rolling on the screen of the movie they are watching. Reginald Barclay is the character that Dwight Schultz (the original Murdoch) played on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the 2nd name ends with "StarBuck", the character played by Dirk Benedict (the original Face man) on Battlestar Galactica. We also see "Thomas", with the surname obscured - likely "Thomas Banachek", a character played by George Peppard, the original Hannibal.

Question: I know the storyline is not the most important part of this film, but why is Face making the final plan for the climax at the LA harbour and not Hannibal?

Answer: Throughout the movie, Face has shown to be impulsive, and constantly deviating away from Hannibal's plan, in fact Face several times screws up because he hasn't followed the plan. Come the end of the movie however, and Face proves to Hannibal that he can tone down the impulsiveness, come up with a plan, stick to it, and see success, and Hannibal's comment to Face after he makes that plan are along the lines of "Good work kid".
