Visible crew/equipment: When the police are leaving the motel, you can see a camera reflection in the S.W.A.T. van as it drives by.

Revealing: When Charlie shoots the cow there is no bloodshed at all, even though the cow is supposed to be alive.

Revealing: In the beginning of the movie when Charlie is walking through town, you can visibly see tire skid marks that look like they drive right into the barber shop. Charlie doesn't drive the car into the barber shop until later on in the movie.

Continuity: The blood comes flowing out of Charlie's hand before he gets his thumb shot off.

Continuity: In the scene where Charlie shoots the cow, he had turned off the headlight of the motorcycle. After he shoots the cow the first time, the headlight is back on.

Continuity: In the scene where Charlie and Irene push the car over the cliff, right after it goes over Charlie asks Irene if she grabbed a wallet off the dash. She says no. Later in the motel they are laying in bed and Charlie is sharing family pictures with Irene and they talk about carrying pictures in their wallets. Charlie's was at the bottom of the lake with the car. [The deleted scene on the DVD doesn't really help - in it Hank jumps off the cliff to get his wallet, and then Irene follows. However the movie shows Charlie and Irene looking down the 30 meter high cliff and walking away with dry clothes. Delete scenes can "disallow" a mistake only if they fill in plausible back story, rather than contradicting the "proper" movie directly.]

Continuity: When Irene and Charlie are in the water near the end, the clouds change between each shot.
