Factual error: The mounted machine gun fires far too many shots for the limited supply of ammo it has in the box attached to it.

Maximum Overdrive (1986) - 13 mistakes
Visible crew/equipment: When the trucks have been circling the diner for about 20 minutes, in a leading shot of the big green goblin head on what appears to be the main truck, you can see a light coloured car in said truck's shiny metal bumper, but there are just trucks in the circle of possessed vehicles. The truck in front of the green goblin head truck isn't that colour either.
Audio problem: A soda can that can is supposed to be full hits the man. When the can hits the ground you can hear that it's empty.
Visible crew/equipment: In the closeup shots of the soda cans shooting out, you can very clearly see the the two hoses which are making the sodas shoot out.
Factual error: The rocket launcher that is used on the big yellow plough is a single shot variety. However, the woman then picks it up and fires it again. It could not have had another rocket in it, and it cannot be reloaded.
Continuity: The amount of blood in the stains of Emilio Estevez's shirt changes between scenes. Sometimes they are small stains, close to the holes, then they are larger, as if blood seeped into the shirt, then they are smaller and slightly different in position in a later shot.
Continuity: At the baseball field, a steamroller comes crashing through the billboard and rolls over a boy on the ground. You can see the roller's steering wheel falling off when he crashes through the board. The next shot, it is there again.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Curt and Connie are attempting to get into the truck stop, the beer truck is ramming their car after they are freed from it. The driver of the beer truck is visible for a few seconds.
Visible crew/equipment: When the gunner is about to explode, you can see the incendiary device under the gunner.
Revealing: When the ice-cream van is being shot at the end of the film, for a single shot you can see the driver sitting in it.
Continuity: At the baseball park when the steamroller runs over the kid, first the the kid has his arms on top of his head, then in the next shot his arms are down.
Plot hole: It becomes obvious that some degree of electricity needs to be present for the comet-entity to activate machinery, and we see evidence of comparatively large physical objects moving telekinetically - the large switches moving to raise the bridge, the floating hair dryer that used its own cord to strangle the girl hanging out the window. Anything from a domestic appliance to a truck is affected. How come standard motor cars weren't?
Visible crew/equipment: When Deke is riding his bike down the street on the ground you can see the camera cars tire tracks. This is only visible in the wet parts of the street.
