When Annabelle tells Maverick that she is short of $4000 to enter the big game he goes and extorts money from the Russian Duke. When he hands it over to her he holds a small bundle of bills, but when the camera angle changes the money is fanned out. Plus, when you pause the DVD you can count only eight $100 bills. Entry Marshall Cooper is played by James Garner, who played Bret Maverick in the 1950s TV series.
Entry In accordance with the other trivia entries about Mel Gibson and Danny Glover; if you listen when Gibson takes down Glover's bandana you will hear the exact music that you hear in the Lethal Weapon movies.
Entry This also goes for the scene with the bank robber, Danny Glover. When he comes out and is getting on his horse he says "I'm getting to old for this S---." This was his main saying in the Lethal Weapon series.
Entry Not a mistake, just worth pointing out. The bank robber is Danny Glover, who seems to recognise Mel Gibson for no good reason, except of course from the Lethal Weapon films, all directed by Richard Donner, who also directed Maverick.
