Mistake Other: In the beginning of the movie, Notorious B.I.G. is a little boy sitting on his porch writing rhymes on his notebook and he is left-handed. Later in the movie, when Notorious B.I.G. is an adult, he is right-handed.

Mistake Other: After they finally start spending money, and after you see them in the older model black Mercedes Benz S-Class, you see clearly a newer model silver Chevrolet Corvette ('05-'09), even though the scene is supposed to be taking place during the latter part of 1996 or early 1997.

Mistake Factual error: There is a 2007/8 NYC Taxi cab that is evident while Biggie is walking the street.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene when Notorious B.I.G. is in the hotel room talking to Faith Evans on the phone, you can see a silhouette of a woman in the background. Several times in a row when the scene cuts back to Notorious, the silhouette is shown making the same movement of walking forward and sitting on the edge of the bed.
