Security Guard: Paul, we don't have an oath.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop (2009) - 26 mistakes
Directed by Steve Carr, starring Kevin James (add more)
Visible crew/equipment: When Paul knocks the bad guy over in the sporting goods store, he falls flat on his back. The crash mat is visible right where he lands and is a different color to the surrounding tiles.
Other: When Paul is putting on the Hello Kitty bandaid, you can see the outline on his skin from another bandaid, from previous takes of this scene.
Other: When Blart and the SWAT guy are pursuing the bad guy, they have a blue police light on top of the car (the magnetic kind). Interior views of the car show blue flashes on their faces, which is impossible with the light being on the roof. The exterior shots confirm that the inside of the car is completely dark.
Continuity: When we see the dog chasing Paul, it is sunny. In the close ups of the dog, there are no shadows from the dog as there were in the previous shots.
Continuity: When Blart applies the plaster, his sleeve is up. Camera cuts and it's down.
Visible crew/equipment: When Paul is singing while playing the guitar of PlayStation 3's Rock Band, a crew member's face is reflected on the TV set.
Visible crew/equipment: When Paul is hiding from the bad guys in the crawl space, you can see a crewmember's shadow in the crawl space.
Visible crew/equipment: Just before they arrive at the airport, the van goes past and you can see a stage light reflected in the van's paint.
Continuity: When Blart falls from the air conditioning duct, his position changes instantly.
Continuity: When Paul is chasing the mobility scooter, the trainee has Paul's coffee in his right hand, then in his left hand instantly.
Other: It is November, since Blart is worried about Black Friday. The kid's clothing store they are seen walking by toward the beginning of the film has Summer clothing and bathing suits in the window. I used to to work in retail and while stores were far ahead of the weather, they are never that far ahead.
Continuity: In the beginning scene, as Blart passes out, another trainee gets off the rope and starts running. The camera cuts to Blart's face for a second, then back to the trainee starting to run. The trainee should have already been running.
Factual error: The movie's set in New Jersey, but EASCare, the ambulance service used in the last scene, is a company out of Boston (where the movie was filmed). Also, the license plate on the ambulance has an registration sticker, which New Jersey hasn't used in many years.
Plot hole: There is no way Maya could have entered the mall after the siege began, as she did by simply walking through a back door using her dad's pass key. The place was supposedly surrounded with law enforcement and she would never have gotten by them and, additionally, she's surprised by the hostage situation, which she wouldn't be after seeing the police presence outside.
Other: When Paul Blart is pwning Rock Band, the vocals shows the tambourine/clap notes. Paul Blart is doing nothing that would play those notes (singing or pressing the "a" button).
Continuity: When Paul puts the plaster on, a clean patch appears on his arm that wasn't there before.
Continuity: The sweat stains on Paul's jumper at the start instantly change.
Continuity: When Paul hides halfway in the air duct, his feet are hanging down when seen in the exterior shots. When seen from inside the duct, his feet are tucked up behind him.
Continuity: When Paul leaves the pen full of balls, you can see people in the far left walking. This would not have happened if the building was "secure" as the robbers stated.
Other: The glass in elevators is tempered. It would not have shattered when the robbers pursuing Paul crashed into it.
Other: In the beginning of the movie, Paul is at the NJ State Police training grounds. The training grounds, while near the ocean, do not have any islands just off the coast, nor is the ocean water nearby. The police cars used are painted light/metallic gray Massachusetts State Police colors with a blue stripe down the side. NJ State Police cars are white with red or red/blue lightbars with a blue & gold triangle logo on the front doors.
Continuity: When Paul and the guy are fighting next to the air con intakes, the speed that the fan is spinning changes between the close and far shots.
Continuity: When Paul hits the glass door of the shop, he gets thrown back and his walkie-talkie from his shoulder falls off. When he stands up again, it's back on.
Continuity: Near the beginning, Paul is putting peanut butter on his pie. The amount significantly changes from the point when he puts it on until the final scene. At first, there is a lot of peanut butter, then there is only a little.
Visible crew/equipment: When Paul and the bad guy fall through the skylight into the play area with a lot of colored balls, the crash mat becomes visible as they land on it. The mat also throws the balls into the air.
