Bedtime Stories (2008) - 12 mistakes

Continuity: When Skeeter is making the "rice cake, banana and wheat-germ sandwich" during the scene the broken sandwich on the plate and also the banana on the counter keep on changing their position. Also, in the closeup of the sandwich after Skeeter has poured toothpaste on it the jar of wheat-germ is not visible, but in all the other shots it is right beside the plate.

Continuity: When Skeeter arrives at his sister Wendy's house, he walks into the kitchen and meets Patrick and Bobbi. He says he has some presents for Bobbi, and Patrick turns around and leans his arm on the back of the chair. In the next few shots his arms keeps moving from resting on the back of the chair to down in his lap.

Continuity: In the beginning of the movie when Marty is tucking young Skeeter into bed, as Marty is sitting beside Skeeter's bed we can see the slatted blinds behind him are almost down to the bottom of the window. But as the scene comes to an end and the camera pulls back from out of the same window, the blinds are now almost pulled to the top.

Visible crew/equipment: When the kids are shaving in the bathroom you can see a crew member reflected on the mirror.

Factual error: When Kendall is about to implode the school, the demolition practices are completely unfeasible. The school would be completely gutted, with all glass, copper, and plumbing removed (the building simply looks cleaned out a bit); additionally, significant structural damage would be intentionally introduced to weaken the internal support (every wall is largely cored); further, the school building and/or surrounding buildings would be sealed in tarps to minimize damage spread; finally, the crowd of protesters and onlookers would be at least a quarter-mile away. Even given this is a bit of a fairy-tale story, the demolition techniques are completely incorrect on several levels.

Continuity: When they are roasting marshmallows on the campfire, if you watch the marshmallow on Bobbi's stick, it continues to change position from being on straight to at an angle between shots.

Continuity: When Mickey and Skeeter are in the hotel kitchen talking about Kendall's promotion, Mickey is eating food off a plate. During the scene he keeps changing from eating to not, and food appears and vanishes from his hand and his hand changes from being by his face to down, etc.

Visible crew/equipment: Right after it rains gumballs we are back in the hotel and looking at the front desk while the bad guy and girl are talking. This shot is a low angle moving right. On the counter mid-frame is a perfect shadow of the camera as the shot moves to the right.

Continuity: When you first see Buggsy on Skeeter's head his eyes are small, however, when he gets off his head you see that the eyes are now big.

Plot hole: Why isn't Kendall in jail at the end of the movie? He shoved two construction workers aside and tried to blow up a building that he knew might have two kids inside. It would still fit the "bad guy has a bad ending" necessary for a Disney film.

Continuity: When Mrs. Dixon is explaining the "leprechaun" stealing the drinks, she explains his size by putting her hands up. The she puts her hands down. However in the next shot her hands are back up.

Continuity: When the kids are painting the signs the letter C in school changes between colored in and not colored in to other stages of coloring between shots.
