Continuity mistake: At the end of "Casino Royale," Bond is wearing a three-piece suit. Although "Quantum of Solace" begins just minutes later, Bond is wearing a completely different two-piece suit.
Continuity mistake: In the scene on Haiti, before Camille gets on the boat, she talks with Dominic Green and has her hands on his shoulders. However, the positions change between shots - from shoulders to upper arm and back again. (00:25:05)
Continuity mistake: When Bond is talking to Mathis at a table at the cottage in Italy, pay attention to the watch on Mathis' wrist. First, it faces the side of his wrist because that way it is best shown on screen, but in the next shot, still at the table, it suddenly faces the outside of his wrist, like watches are usually worn. Continuity mistake: When Bond is on the plane with Mathis and asks the waiter for his usual drink, between shots, Mathis' hair changes. In some shots, there's a lock of hair on his left, down by his eye. In some shots, he's got two bits of hair loose on his right. And in others, his hair's all in place. All this without him ever touching it.
Continuity mistake: When Bond is talking to M, his shirt collar is out of the blazer, then back in, then out again; all in a space of 30 seconds. (00:08:40)
Continuity mistake: As Bond is cradling Mathis after Mathis gets shot by the policemen, the blood on Bond's right hand changes between the long shots and the close ups. (01:03:10)
Continuity mistake: When M meets Bond near the beginning of the film, as she walks down the stairs she is wearing flat shoes, but as she gets to the bottom she is wearing high heels. (00:16:45)
Continuity mistake: At the very end, when Bond throws the can of motor oil at Greene, it first lands next to his left foot. The next shot from Greene's POV, looking down on the ground, shows that the can is now in front of his feet. (01:36:20)
Continuity mistake: During the fight scene at the Hotel Dessalines with Slate, Bond and Slate go through glass pane doors and land on the terrace, and Bond kills Slate. Notice that at first there is a broken piece of wood pane laying next to Slate's head; the next shot shows no wood pane, and there is a door knob that wasn't laying close to Slate's head in the first shot. Revealing mistake: Bond hands a business card to a guy, then sits on his bike and, right before he grabs his cellphone, there's a man behind him who's supposed to be sweeping the street, but the broom isn't even touching the floor, he's just mimicking or horsing around.
Continuity mistake: After Camille shoots General Medrano, she sits up on the floor looking at him; the very next shot has an overturned table beside her that wasn't in that first shot. (00:01:45)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning the roadway openings have curved arches, a very short straight section with rectangular openings, then more arches. When the driving begins, the arches have disappeared and the entire sequence is on a very long curved section with rectangles, before they get to the open road. (00:00:50)
Chosen answer: Remember just before that scene? Bond gets in to the car with Camille (Camille thinks that Bond is Slate) and looks through that attache case and finds a picture of Camille, with a gun, and tells her "I think someone wants you dead". So Bond and Camille both knew that Dominic was planning her death, but she had to go through Dominic to get to General Medrano.
