starring Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Sarah Jessica Parker (add more)
Other: In the scene where Carrie is reading bits of love letters to Big, she reads from a letter from Napoleon to Josephine and uses the line "I awake consumed with you".
In Napoleon's actual letter he wrote "I awake filled with you" and for a brief moment you see the book Carrie is reading from, which shows the correct text.
Continuity: When Miranda takes a sip of her latte in the restaurant scene with Steve, only half of her upper lip has foam on it. In the next shot of her it is covering the whole of her upper lip.
Continuity: When Carrie announces her engagement, Charlotte screams then jumps up from her chair and a white cloth napkin suddenly appears in Charlotte's left hand, only to disappear and reappear.
Continuity: During Carrie's personal assistant interview with the Asian man, in the shot facing Carrie her papers and coffee cup are centered on the table in front of her, but as the camera pans down to the man's pink high heels the items are at the corner of the table.
Continuity: When Louise calls Carrie from the bridal salon, her little sister is visible in the mirror's reflection as she holds Louise's Louis Vuitton bag on her lap. In the reflection the back of the Louis Vuitton bag faces out, but in the sister's close-up the bag's distinctive front faces out, then in the next shot it's the back again.
Continuity: When Charlotte, Anthony and Carrie are planning the wedding, Carrie has a pen attached to her dress strap which keeps changing positions (it doesn't disappear, we can still see its black cap) while she is sitting on the bed and when she gets her wedding dress out of the closet.
Continuity: When Carrie is talking to Miranda on her bed she has a Sharpie pen attached to her sundress strap, in another shot it is gone, then in the next shot the Sharpie is back.
Continuity: When Carrie is feeling depressed in Mexico and is being fed food in bed by Samantha, there is a tea pot on the tray on the bed. The scene changes back and forth between Samantha and Carrie and each time it changes, the style of the tea pot completely changes. When it's a shot of Samantha, it's a regular tea pot with a lid, and when it's a shot of Carrie, it changes to an art deco style pot with no lid whatsoever.
Continuity: At the Italian restaurant, when Miranda explains that she has a brief to work on at home, Magda lifts her glass of water with her left hand, but in the shot facing her she holds it in her right hand, then it's back in her left hand again.
Continuity: At the Italian restaurant, Brady's fork is on the plate of spaghetti in shots facing Steve, but in shots facing Brady he's holding his fork.
Visible crew/equipment: Carrie hits Big with her bouquet and when he falls back onto the car seat and says, "Carrie, I'm sorry!" the moving boom and mic reflection is visible on the black surface, over the doorway.
Continuity: When the four ladies are sitting around after Charlotte's baby shower, the camera moves from Carrie to Samantha several times. The cake on Carrie's plate goes from almost finished to a complete slice between the two shots.
Continuity: When the girls are at the restaurant in Mexico and the waiter brings over the drinks, he first hands Charlotte the bottled water and then hands Samantha the drink. The camera pans back to the waiter holding the drinks and the bottle of water is still there along with 2 other drinks.
Continuity: In the extended scenes of the movie when the four girls are trying on Carrie's clothes from the eighties, they are sitting on the bed together watching Lily coming out of the bathroom draped in numerous handbags. They have all changed back into their normal clothes, but when Lily continues to walk closer to the girls, the angle changes and the four girls are back in Carrie's outfits again, dancing around in the bedroom.
Continuity: In the scene where the four ladies are sitting around the pool in Mexico, talking about Miranda's lack of waxing, keep an eye on the magazine that Charlotte is holding. Just as Miranda walks away, the open page on the left side of the magazine is a red page advertising what looks like a perfume. As she leans forward to say, "really," the page changes immediately to a white page. Then after Carrie makes her "Mexicoma" joke, the shot goes back to Charlotte and Samantha, and the magazine Charlotte has open is now on a blueish picture. Not enough time to change the pages.
Continuity: During the champagne filled take or toss, when Carrie models the tutu dress the closed blue bathroom door behind her opens itself and then closes again, between shots.
Continuity: Early in the movie when Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte are having lunch and Carrie is about to tell them that she and Mr.Big have decided to get married - Miranda's fork moves from one hand to another between shots whenever the camera angle changes.
Continuity: When Charlotte places the three Post-It notes on the doorway, their positions keep changing back and forth in the following shots.
Continuity: When Charlotte leaves the house in Mexico to go to the gym, she is wearing black work-out pants and a pink tube top. When she leaves the spa, she's wearing pink pants and a dark purple top. The blue bag she's carrying isn't bulky enough to be full of a change of clothes, as you can see when she rushes past the girls back at the house.
Continuity: When Charlotte and Lily drop by to see Carrie, to invite her to join them for trick-or-treating, Lily hands over a small pumpkin that she's holding upside down, but on another angle, when Carrie receives it, it is right side up.
Continuity: In the scene where Carrie and Big are in bed (Carrie is reading the Love Letters) the library card Carrie uses as a bookmark keeps changing position. She opens the book and holds the card behind the book cover, then when you see a close-up of the text you can see the card is being held inside the book. Then it's back behind the book cover.
Continuity: When Miranda and Steve are at the restaurant, the olive oil and Brady's toys such as the dinosaur, etc, keep moving around the table between shots, though nobody is touching them.
Continuity: When Samantha is lying on the table covered in sushi and the phone rings, she moves and the piece of sushi on her shoulder falls down. There is a visible piece of double sided stick tape there to hold the sushi in place. In the scene time elapses, but it is understood Samantha never leaves the table and remains covered in sushi. When the shot returns to her close up, the piece of tape has been removed from her shoulder.
Other: Charlotte's dog had puppies during the show's final season and in the last episode we saw her and Harry walking them all. All the pups looked like pure-bred Cavalier King Charles spaniels (like their mother), even though they were mongrels. In the movie, the dogs are completely different and appear to be long-haired Jack Russells.
Visible crew/equipment: Early into the film, the girls walk on the street next to a white window shop. The reflection of the opposite sidewalk is that of a wooden barrier with hundreds of people (fans? Crew members?) behind; but when the angle changes, the barrier is gone and the sidewalk is filled with passers by.
