starring David Morse, Dean Stockwell (add more)
Continuity: In the scene were the pilot among the survivors start to land for the first time, the plane starts to shake. The teenage girl is comforted by the teenage boy. In one shot the girl wears her black jacket, in the next shot she's only wearing her green sweater, but in later shots she wears her jacket again.
Continuity: As Brian lands the plane down to Bangor, his headset is on in a frontal shot, but in a reverse shot it isn’t.
Continuity: As they are going down through the clouds to Bangor, in the wide shot before Bethany faints on Albert. Bethany has vanished from the seat beside Albert. This is before she has fainted.
Revealing: In the scene when they all have just arrived at Bangor when Bob Jenkins compares his watch with a clock (he looks if there are batteries inside) I'm not sure, but I guess one battery is reversed so that the clock is stopped.
Visible crew/equipment: When it shows Toomey’s father sitting down with a newspaper, as he gets up to shout at Craig, a boom mike is visible, above him.
Visible crew/equipment: When Craig’s father slaps Craig, and Craig then falls down to his knees on the floor, you can see a red tape marker on the floor by Craig’s feet.
Revealing: When everyone goes up to the second floor on the escalator, behind them outside through the glass doors you can see people walking about.
Continuity: There is a scene where Laurel, Dinah, and Toomey are in the Cloud 9 restaurant and everyone else is out by the windows looking at the plane. The camera cuts from the group out by the windows - which includes Gaffney - immediately to a shot of the Cloud 9 restaurant sign. You can see Gaffney inside the restaurant through the sign.
Continuity: After Albert knocks Craig Toomey unconscious with the toaster, as it shows different angles of him laying on the floor, his tie is alternately hanging out/tucked into his suit.
Continuity: Albert knocks Toomey out with a toaster. You can see during several subsequent shots that there is only a small amount of blood on Toomey's forehead and none at all on his face. Toomey lies there unconscious for a while, without changing position, and when he wakes up, suddenly his whole face is cut up and bloody.
Continuity: The holes which the Langoliers make near the aeroplane, when the chase after Criag Toomy, change position, size, shape, move closer to the plane and then finally vanish.
Other: When the plane lands in LAX, as it slows down on the runway, in one shot the lettering (LI011) on the plane is reversed in one shot.
Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the movie, when the people stand against the wall as they return back to normal time, you can see tape markers on the floor, as they stand by the wall.
Revealing: Near the end, as they approach LAX, the woman says there is nobody on the ground, that it's just the same as Bangor, but actually you can see a few cars moving on the ground.
Continuity: When they take off from Bangor you see the landing gear retract, but in the next shot it's back down again.
Continuity: When the plane first lands at Bangor airport, the words 'American Pride' on the plane are reversed, like they are reflected in a mirror in one shot as its wheels hits the runway.
Continuity: The position of the plane on the runway and the distance it is from the terminal often changes, when Dinah looks at it through the glass, as Toomey runs around from the Langoliers, etc.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Albert hits mr Toomey, he falls to the ground out cold. If you look at the glass door to the right of Albert as he looks at mr Toomey on the floor you can see the reflection of a baggage car go past the door.
Revealing: Just before they land at Bangor airport we have two or three shots behind the pilot. I am not a hair dresser but I believe that you can see the difference between the real pilot's hair and the actor's.
