Another commentary mention - a lot of friends' of the Farrelly brothers make appearences in this film. One makes an appearence as the man at the bar who Munson thinks called him a psycho. Some others are included as the professional bowlers who are in the final bowling sequence.
According to the commentary on the DVD, the man who plays the snake wrangler is the Farrelly brothers' father.
In the scene where Munson shows off his ring and throws a strike, notice three guys walk up to him. The first guy and the third guy to high five him are actually professional golfers, Billy Andrade, and Brad Faxon.
The announcer at the beginning of the national bowling tournament in the end is Blues Traveler singer John Popper. The band also performs at the end of the film.
The bowling priest Hank Brandt was at one time a professional golfer, as well as a professional bowler.
