Continuity: In the stabbing scene, right as Verlaine says "Just", he is very-close to Rimbaud's ear. But in the next shot when he says "say it", he's only leaning towards Rimbaud.
Continuity: When Rimbaud unpacks his writing materials at his home, his pen is already on the table when the camera faces the desk, but when it focuses back on him, he is taking out his pen from his overcoat.
Factual error: In the movie Isabelle is depicted as Rimbaud's favorite sister, but in reality it was Vitalie who Rimbaud favored.
Continuity: When Verlaine throws the fish and flour at Rimbaud in a fit of rage, we can see quite that the fish lands nowhere below the window. However, when Rimbaud climbs out of the window, he slips on the fish.
Factual error: In the movie, it is depicted that Verlaine shoots Rimbaud in the palm; in reality Verlaine shot Rimbaud in the wrist.
Continuity: After Rimbaud and Verlaine finishes wrestling in the hotel room, as the camera faces them both, Rimbaud's hair is swept to the left, but when the camera focuses on Rimbaud, his hair falls naturally.
Revealing: When Rimbaud dies, as the nurse covers him with the white cloth, he blinks for a fraction of a second.
