Other: When Laurie, Annie, and Lynda are walking home from school on Oct 31st, you see the "fall" leaves on the ground, however the surrounding trees are as green as can be.

Trivia
Aside from the more obvious relations between the original and the remake (i.e. "Don't Fear the Reaper", etc), one interesting one is how Michael acquires his trademark jumpsuit. In the original, it's implied he kills a trucker and steals his (we see his dead body in a field left with Michael's robes). Sure enough, in the remake Michael also gets the jumpsuit from a trucker - of course this time the death is plainly visible. See more...
Visible crew/equipment: When you see Micheal on the balcony, a couple arrive at his house thinking it is empty. As the van backs into the driveway you see a shape of a head in the rear windshield, then it quickly moves.
Plot hole: Sheriff Bracket put Laurie in a foster home "off the books", so officially by all accounts Michael's baby sister was dead. Yet Michael not only knows she's alive, he knows exactly who she is despite not a single shred of evidence or police report to support it. (This starts to go into the old Halloween mythos that Michael subconsciously knew because of his 'curse', but in the context of Zombie's film being a standalone project, it doesn't fit).
Continuity: When Micheal beats the kid in a park with a stick, the attack only lasts a minute yet the new blood on the kids face is dried up, presumably from earlier takes. The dry blood effect is seen in more scenes throughout the movie.
Revealing: Obvious empty chambers in Dr. Loomis' revolver.
Continuity: When Michael Myers busts into the bathroom stall occupied by the truck driver, the plastic magazine racks on the opposite side of the stall are smashed and broken. When Myers leaves the stall, the magazine racks are still intact.
Continuity: Near the film's end, Myers crushes Dr. Loomis' skull with blood protruding from several parts of his face. In the following shot of him being dragged into the house dead, his face and head are perfectly fine.
