Continuity: During the song "Fabulous," when Sharpay sings "Everything's got to be perfect, for me," she throws her arms down and they are fully covered by her robe, but in the closeup of her face her arms are completely bare.

Continuity: In the scene where Troy and Gabriella are having a picnic on the golf course, the sky consistently changes from a blue sky to a cloudy sky to a sunset sky then back to a blue sky.

Revealing: After Ryan is given the Star Trophy at the talent show, the classmates gather outside holding lanterns. The line pulling Troy's lantern up is visible, just as the first blue fireworks starburst explodes above it.

Visible crew/equipment: Throughout the film, set equipment such as the boom mic and pole, reflector screen or monitor is visible in the reflections of characters' eyeglasses and sunglasses. Such as when one of the Sharpettes asks, "So what's the theme of the summer's talent show?" in Sharpay's next close-up the boom mic and pole are visible in the reflection of her sunglasses.

Continuity: During the "What Time Is It" dance routine in the cafeteria, in two close-ups of Gabriella and Troy, a couple of Gabriella's middle buttons are open on her white blouse, but are buttoned up in the wideshots.

Continuity: In Troy's kitchen, when he's on the cell with Fulton, in the front shot Zeke puts down a half eaten apple and holds a carrot in his right hand with an empty left. In the side shot, he holds an apple in his right hand and a water bottle in his left, but next front shot it's the same as the first shot.

Continuity: During the scene when Troy is teaching Sapray on how to golf after Troy leaves Sapray puts one golf ball on the ground. The next shot on the close up of the golf ball you see that two other balls have shown up behind the club. Then when she hits the ball its back to one.

Continuity: When Sharpay is practicing golf, the position of the golf balls changes between shots during the scene.

Continuity: In the scene where Troy is playing basketball and Gabriella comes up to him, his jacket sleeves keep changing between being all the way down and being pushed up to his elbows.

Continuity: Before Vanessa Hudgens' stunt double is seen diving into the pool, you can see Vanessa already in the pool swimming towards Ashley Tisdale as she stumbles backwards into the water.

Continuity: In the very beginning of "Go My Own Way," Gabriella starts to turn away from Troy twice; once in a shot from over Troy's shoulder and again when it is a side shot of the two of them.

Continuity: At the end of "Work This Out" the group take to the center of the kitchen floor for the final dance routine. To the left, the long white apron string either hangs down or lies on the table over and over again.

Continuity: At the U of A basketball court, in the overhead shot Troy sits down beside a crumpled white towel, which disappears in his close-up as he calls Gabriella's cell. That towel returns in the subsequent overhead shot, when he continues to play basketball.

Continuity: Having just arrived at Lava Springs, Fulton hands Gabriella the first of the talent show fliers for her to autograph, but in the close-up as she initials it there is more than one under her hand.

Continuity: When Chad and Troy show up to caddy for the Evans family, the positions of Ryan and his mother, as well as the golf club bags, change depending on camera angle. The shadows they all cast also repeatedly change.

Continuity: During Sharpay's version of "You Are the Music In Me" after she tosses her red jacket atop the piano it moves from front to side, again and again, during the song.

Continuity: When Sharpay, Ryan and the three Sharpettes sit on their chaise lounges before "Fabulous" there are three large umbrellas behind them and a table with Sharpay's imported ice tea on it. It all disappears during the song; additionally, their large brightly colored bags and magazines move as well.

Continuity: At the piano, Kelsi clutches the sheet music titled "Troy and Gabriella's Song" facing out, but when Sharpay grabs it, in her close-up the title is not written on either side.

Continuity: In the L.S. kitchen, when Fulton gives Troy the suit and tie, the hanger's metal swivel hook changes direction between the three shots.

Continuity: After arriving at Lava Springs, Sharpay places her sunglasses down on the desktop upside down facing away from her, but in the close-up the sunglasses are rightside up and are turned around.
