In the scene where Wyatt first meets the Pussycats on the street, he holds up a clear CD case to highlight the girls in it. Before he holds it up, it has a CD in it, which he tosses to the side. The case itself also has the grooves for the disc and the CD logo imprint in the corner. When Wyatt holds up the disc cover, its completely clear and devoid of any grooves for the CD to go into or the upraised CD logo. See more...

At the beginning, when Wyatt is "removing" Dujour, he says to the pilot, "Take the Chevy to the levee." I'm fairly certain this is a reference to Don McLean's song "American Pie," written for the death of Buddy Holly, a famous 1950 rock-and-roll singer. One of the lines in the song is, "...took my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry."

In the beginning where the manager of the Pussycats is talking to the group, you can see his sister in the background by the sink. You then see her reach under her shirt to fix her bra.

Throughout the movie, if you pay attention, Wyatt's glasses constantly change to the "in" color of the moment.

During the plane ride, right after Wyatt gives the girls their record deal, Alexander asks his sister "I still don't know why you're here." She answers by saying, "Because I was in the comic book." Josie and the Pussycats was a TV show and a comic book in the early 70s.

Toward the end of the movie Wyatt Frame (played by Alan Cumming) says Josie should be happy that the people who hated her before are loving her now. He says "some people have to wait until their high school reunion." In the film "Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion" (1997), Sandy Frisk (also played by Cumming) does just that.
