Continuity: The film is set in the 1850s on a high-class country estate in England. One can see the badly-disguised outline of a grass tennis court on the "lawn", and perfectly neat stripes on the lawn seemingly created by a late-20th century lawn-mower... [The same effect can be achieved by rolling the lawn with large metal rollers - definitely done in those days, and still used on cricket pitches, etc.]
