Factual error: Troy has several chains attached to his body, of which two are attached to his Achilles tendons. This is the structure of the leg that allows you to stand and move, so as soon as he ripped them out, he would have fallen over and been unable to walk.

Visible crew/equipment: Just as Jeff and the judge walk out of the pig room, we see the judge walk through some plastic. When he walks through the camera is reflected on his back. (01:17:15)

Continuity mistake: The amount of blood on Jigsaw's skull changes drastically from thick dark red to thin almost translucent red. This is before Lyn clamps off the blood vessels and uses the alcohol to clear the area. (01:03:20)

Revealing mistake: When Kerry is in the Angel trap there is a close up of her about to put her hand in the acid for the first time before it changes to a spinning shot. In the close up, watch very closely and you will see her fingertips enter the acid but she doesn't get burned or scream in pain. (00:15:40)

Suggested correction: You don't always feel the pain straight way when under immense physical stress.

What about not being burned? That's still a mistake.

Plot hole: Out of all of the chains Troy had attached to him, one is hooked to his jaw which is near impossible to do as that would probably kill you and ripping it out would too, which is why Amanda would have placed it there. Jigsaw wouldn't have approved of it, and obviously there's no indication that Amanda had a medical profession, so how did she hook that chain to his jaw and even if she did, without killing him?

Trivia: The camera moves from Troy's crime scene to Kerry in the bathtub in one shot - Dina Meyer had to run around the set, undress, and jump into the tub. If you look closely, you can still see the water moving from when she jumped in.

Question: In both Saw II and III we learn that Amanda is working for Jigsaw, after her test in the first movie. However I don't see the reason why she had to be in a game again, in Saw II. I was hoping that to be explained in Saw III, but apparently, it wasn't. Please enlighten me.

Answer: In Saw V, Jigsaw explains to Hoffman that Amanda's purpose in the second game was make sure the others followed the rules.

Answer: Amanda was in the Saw 2 game to mainly protect Daniel Eric's son from harm, so he could be alive for Eric's test during the police interrogation with Jigsaw. The whole game centered around Eric Matthews and simply included his framed victims. This was Amanda's choosing, so she was the reasonable choice to oversee it.

Answer: In Saw II, Amanda pretended to be one of the prisoners, so she could observe her fellow prisoners.
