Continuity: During Hades' meeting with the Fates, he walks to a table to explain his plan. Between shots the things on the table change.
Continuity: When Hercules opens the case, all that falls out are two pots, two bowling pins, a helmet, a sword, and two pairs of armor. A purple cape, two shields, many other pots, a sandal, a trophy, and a white ball with a blue stripe are among many of the additional items that appear out of thin air in the very next shot.
Deliberate "mistake": In Thebes, Phil beats up the guy and he gets a black eye, but seconds later the black eye is gone.
Continuity: When Phil falls off Pegasus, he hits a pillar and gets knocked out. A few minutes later, after recovering, his position is different and the pillar is gone.
Continuity: When the gods are walking down Mt. Olympus in chains, Hephaestus is in front of Aphrodite. But after Hercules cuts the chains with his sword and frees the gods, Hermes is in front of Aphrodite, and Hephaestus is nowhere to be seen.
Continuity: In the shot of the gods after Hades makes his joke about moussaka, Dionyssus is close to Aphrodite and Athena's owl is on her left hand. Then as Hades asks "Is this an audience or a mosaic?", Aphrodite is further from Dionyssus, and Athena's owl is on her right hand.
Continuity: As the Fates cut their first victim's string of life, between shots they move further away from the nearby window.
Continuity: When Hercules is on his knees in the temple of Zeus, in some shots he is on bare stone, but in other shots he is on the ceramic design.
Continuity: When Hercules collapses after his battle with the hydra, the position of his arms changes between shots.
Continuity: After the frisbee is taken away from Hercule's, he sadly sits down on the edge of the fountain. Between shots the rocks and things on the ground distinctively change.
Continuity: Panic pulls open the tab on a soda can, but the can opens on the wrong side from the tab.
Continuity: The amount of vines on the case Phil pulls out of the bushes changes between shots.
Continuity: In the first scene involving the Fates, the hands of the green one are perfectly fine, and it is not until Hades places the eyeball in her hand that all the disgusting brown spots and hairs appear.

Audio problem: During Phil's song, when he sings about mowing the lawn, his lips don't match what he's saying.
Continuity: When Hercules is running over the log, the stick he trips over becomes longer between shots.
Continuity: When Hercules catches the Frisbee, he falls on the ground and makes several cracks. Seconds later, the cracks are gone.
Continuity: When Hercules is showing Zeus how he beat the gorgon, he pushes Pegasus into a nearby pool of water. This pool was not there the first time Hercules came to the temple.
Continuity: The pile of chains and other items change after Hercules throws Phil into it.
Continuity: In the stadium, Hercules twirls Phil around and forms a hole. The shape of this hole changes between shots.
Continuity: Hercules skips a rock towards a statue in the fountain. There's no way that after doing that the statue would lose both its arms, let alone with no other damage done to it.
Continuity: When Hades says "Here I am kind of river guardian-less" you can see a chess piece of a centaur on the board near to a lot of other pieces. The when Meg flicks the centaur off the board, the other pieces are gone.
Continuity: When Hercules arrives in the market with his wheelbarrow, the angle of the brown line on one of the wheels changes between shots.
Continuity: After Hercules makes the village fall down the potmaker smashes a pot in front of Hercules. A few moments later in an overhead shot the smashed pot is gone.
Continuity: When Hercules' sword gets stuck in the stone during his battle with the hydra, the angle of the sword varies between shots.
Continuity: When the girls are mobbing Hercules, Phil's flute magically appears around his neck.
Continuity: After Hercules slices off the hydra's head a lot of green goop comes out of its neck and forms a large puddle. A few seconds later, as the hydra suddenly sprouts three more heads, the puddle of goop is much smaller.
Continuity: After the cyclops has beaten Hercules up, Phil arrives to talk some sense into him and drops his handkerchief on the ground. Then when the cyclops picks Hercules up, the handkerchief is gone.
Continuity: At night-time, Phil is standing on Pegasus' head in front of a "head-light". The head-light disappears from Pegasus' head after the above shot.
Continuity: Hercules meets Phil. Phil walks away & enters his tree. Hercules grabs the door & yanks it off it's hinges. You can see there's a hinge on the door & another was left in the doorway's frame. Phil is hanging onto the door handle as Herc holds it up. After Phil lets go of the door, the door has both hinges.
Continuity: When baby Hercules is drinking from the bottle, Panic is holding Hercules' arm high in the air. In the very next shot, he is holding Hercules' arm down low, near his chest.
Factual error: When Hercules and Phil are flying over Thebes, the ocean is visible nearby. Thebes is nowhere near the ocean.
Continuity: When Hercules says, "I want to become a hero, a true hero," Phil's door is closed. In the next shot, when Phil replies, "Sorry kid, can't help you," his door is open.
Continuity: Five white teenage girls burst in on Hercules & Phil & run toward the camera. In the following shot, the girl in blue has changed into a black girl.
Continuity: When baby Hercules is found, he's wearing a medal around his neck with a ribbon. The ribbon is tight around his neck, yet when the old man lifts the medal, the ribbon grows a couple of feet as he pulls it away from Herc's neck & turns the medal around to read it.
Continuity: While watching today, I realized right before "Go The Distance' when Hercules' mother is putting the wrap on him, originally it's green, but throughout the song, it's blue. Part of me thinks that it's supposed to be the shadows from the sunset, but looking again, it seems that it suddenly changes from green to blue. Especially since during the lightning storm in the song the color doesn't change much at all.
Continuity: When the hydra sprouts three heads, Phil hands Hercules the sword in his left hand, but in the very next shot the sword is in his right hand.
Continuity: At the end when Hercules comes back to Mt. Olympus, there are two huge lines of gods greeting him on either sides of a long staircase. After Zeus and Hera have talked to him, about ten gods start mobbing him. When the shot cuts back to Meg the staircase is empty. Where did all the other gods go?
Continuity: In the scene where the gods are chained up and being led away, they keep changing places in between shots.
Continuity: In the shot where Hercules breaks Apollo's and Aphrodite's chains, the chain links are connected between their wrists. However in earlier shots, the chains were from the wrists to the neck.
Continuity: When Amphitryon finds the baby and looks at his medal, the word "Hercules" is written on one side. Later, older Hercules is talking to his parents, and his mother takes out the same medal to show to him. Look closely, and you will see that the word "Hercules" is gone.
Continuity: When the blonde kid takes the Frisbee away, saying "Nice catch Jerkules", the yellow circle that was in the middle of the circle earlier is gone.
Continuity: When Hercules is shaking Phil's hand, the two move away from the nearby tree between shots.
Continuity: Inside the temple of Zeus, there is a huge ceramic design on the floor. But toward the end of this scene, the design has shrunk by an insane amount.
Continuity: When Hercules' parents show him the medal, in one shot he is holding it with his fingers, but in the next it is lying in his palm.
Continuity: During Hades' meeting with the Fates, he creates a figurine of baby Hercules and puts it on the table. After the Fates reveal part of the future to Hades and fly away, in an overhead shot the figurine is gone.
Continuity: During the battle against the hydra, the hydra makes very distinctive scrapes on the ground with its teeth. After the battle, there is an overhead shot of the valley, and the scrapes are gone.
Continuity: When the gods are celebrating Hercules' return, Hermes throws out flowers, but only red ones. Yet Phil catches a yellow one.
Continuity: In the scene near the end when Hercules returns to Mt. Olympus, many of the gods are shown at different locations on the stairs between shots.
Continuity: When Phil is telling Hercules how great Achilles was, a helmet is visible on a shelf on the wall. But after Phil nicks the statue of Achilles in the heel and it crumbles to pieces, the helmet is gone.
Continuity: When the pillar almost falls on Hercules, Meg dives head first to push him away. Then in the next shot, as Meg is crushed under the pillar, she's lying feet first.
Continuity: In an overhead shot of the stadium, Hercules is doing laps at the far side of the stadium. In the next closeup shot, he is in the middle of the stadium.
Continuity: When the potmaker storms off Phil says "Keep your toga on, pal" and you can tell the walls behind him are in the far background. Then a few seconds later, the walls behind Phil are in the foreground.
Continuity: Before Zeus picks Hercules up, Herc's medal is untucked. Then when Zeus has him in his hand the medal is tucked in. When Zeus puts him back on the ground, the medal is gone, but Hercules has it again later in the movie.
Continuity: In an overhead shot as the marketplace is tumbling down, several items that should be in the middle of the market are gone. This includes the wagon with the bundle of hay and the fountain that Hercules had sat next to a few minutes earlier.
Continuity: When Hercules throws the swords and they almost hit Phil, the handles of the swords change between shots.
Continuity: When Phil is telling Hercules about rules number 95 and 96, the nearby tree changes shape.
Continuity: When Hercules is talking to Meg about "that Oedipus thing," between shots he and Meg move closer to the end of the stairs.
Continuity: In the song "Zero to Hero", when Hades pushes the figurine of the boar towards the figurine of Hercules, Hercules' position changes between shots.
Continuity: Before Meg's song, the tree Hercules takes a flower from appears out of nowhere.
Continuity: When Meg walks after the centaur fight, Hercules says "She's something". Between shots his shadow changes.
Continuity: The size of the Titans constantly changes throughout the scenes involving them. This is particularly true for the Rock Titan.
Continuity: During the battle with the hydra, the big rock that Hercules throws at it appears out of nowhere.
Continuity: When Hercules runs into the market, he stops himself and makes a hole in the ground. The length of this hole changes quite distinctively between shots.
Continuity: After Hercules defeats the hydra his shirt has several rips in it. These rips become larger between shots.
Continuity: At the start of the hydra battle the lines on the ground near Hercules and Phil change between shots.
Continuity: When Hades throws the steak to Cerberus, the size and shape of the steak changes noticeably between shots.
Continuity: Herc is fighting the Cyclops. He has two black eyes & a bruise on his left arm. Phil shows up & starts to wipe Herc's face. Suddenly, a bruise appears on Herc's right arm too. After Herc says, "Dreams are for Rookies", this bruise disappears.
Continuity: Herc is riding the big Centaur like he's in a rodeo. In one shot, his headband has suddenly appeared in his hand. The next time he's seen, the band is back on his head.
Continuity: Phil grabs the door & the hinges are on one side, while the handle is on the other. As he turns the door around, the hinges & handle have jumped to the other sides of the door.
Continuity: In the scene where Hercules is hiding behind a curtain from all the ladies Meg pulls down the curtain and Hercules only has one gold band.In the next shot Hercules has two gold bands.
Continuity: When Hephaestus is hammering the lightning bolt on the table, the position of the bolt changes between shots.
Continuity: After Zeus tells a joke, he falls into his chair saying, "I kill myself," but his lips don't match what he's saying.
Continuity: Pegasus flies into the temple of Zeus through an opening in the ceiling, then when he and Hercules are flying over it the opening is gone.
Continuity: After Hercules defeats the hydra, the pile of rocks that crushed the hydra changes between shots.
Continuity: The rope in the wagon magically appears after Hercules falls into it.
Continuity: When the gods are celebrating the birth of Hercules, the thunderbolts in Zeus' pocket disappear and reappear.
Continuity: Hercules is on the highbar in the stadium. In one shot, the "rings" appear near him. Not only are the rings just hanging from nowhere, they disappear in the following shot.
Continuity: Panic flies up in the air & lands with his horns stuck in Pain's butt. When he lands, he has a horn in each cheek. Then Pain stands up & turns sideways, showing Panic with both horns in only one of Pain's cheeks.
Continuity: After failing to kill Hercules, Panic says "Hades is gonna kill us when he finds out what happened". In this shot, Pain's tail is wrapped around his side twice. In the next shot, when Pain replies "You mean IF he finds out", his tail is wrapped around thrice.
Continuity: In the shots of the pot-maker closing the curtain of his shop and of the kid asking Hercules for his Frisbee back, the pots in the background change between shots.
Continuity: When the pillars are about to crash on the pot-maker, he has eight pots and his hand. Then after they don't, and he breathes in relief, there are only six pots in his hands.
Continuity: When Hercules rips off the door, Phil is holding onto the right side of the handle. In the next shot, he is holding onto the left side of the handle.
Continuity: During the song "Zero to Hero" a large golden statue of Hercules is unveiled in Thebes. Later in the film, when the cyclops is attacking the city, the statue is in the same location, but it is much smaller, and now it is made of stone.
Continuity: Between shots of Zeus saying "I swear Hades, when I get out of here," the mountain of molten lave he is trapped in rises further up his body.
Continuity: When the scissors break after the Fates fail to cut Hercules' string of life, the way the scissors are bent changes between shots.
Continuity: In Thebes, when a vendor opens his cloak and asks if he wants on sundial, his fingers go from being underneath the cloak to over it.
Continuity: When the girls are mobbing Hercules, one of them steals his headband and then runs off with it. Seconds later, his headband is back in the room.
Continuity: When Hades forms a chessboard to show Meg his plan, the chess-pieces on it change between shots.
Continuity: When Hercules tries to grab Meg's soul, his hands become very old as soon as they enter the water. But when Hercules is swimming to the bottom of the river, it is quite a while before his hands become old at all.
Continuity: After Meg's death the nearby rocks and objects change between shots.
Continuity: In the beginning, only four titans are imprisoned underground. Later, as Hades sets them free, the arms of five different titans burst out of the ground.
Continuity: When teen Hercules visits the Temple of Zeus, he is carrying a pack. He drops it on the floor next to him. The Zeus statue then picks him up. When Zeus then places him on the floor, the bag is gone.
Continuity: Teenage Hercules is running with the hay-cart towards an archway. As he runs toward it, we see the arch is higher than the hay. In the next shot, we see the hay is much higher than the arch. Then in the following shot, the hay barely brushes under the arch.
Continuity: One of Herc's shoulder clasps come undone during the Cyclop's fight. After the Cyclops drops him into the cart, the clasp is done up again.
Continuity: In the scene where young Hercules is pulling the cart of hay, his's adopted father and the donkey are riding on the seat and both are holding onto the sides of the seat since they're going so fast. Once they stop, Hercules's adapted father mentions the donkey's hurt foot, and she's now got a sling on the left front leg which wasn't there during the wild ride.
Continuity: When Hercules is running into the market with the wheelbarrow, as his dad cries, "Hercules, slow down," the donkey's leg is unbandaged and perfectly all right. This changes after Hercules arrives in the market.
Continuity: Hades places the eyeball in the Fates' left hand, but a second later she releases it from her right hand.
Continuity: At the start of Phil's song, he is standing on a pillar. The angle of this pillar varies between shots.
Continuity: When Pain and Panic are shown for the first time, the cracks on the ground change between shots.
Factual error: When Young Hercules makes the pillars fall in a Domino effect, they go both ways. However, if this were to happen, they would stop the domino effect when they reach the entrance to the market, which doesn't have pillars. The pillars are not in a circle, so there's no way they can both stop at the top of the ring, where the pot seller is. The only way for this to work is if Hercules started the Domino effect at the entrance of the market, with pillars directly across from each other, which he doesn't.
Continuity: When Hercules is proving to Phil how strong he is, he runs up a dirt hill and throws a part of a statue into the water. After he does this, the hill is now covered in grass.
Continuity: When Hercules comes to the underworld, he sees Meg floating in the river next to a lot of other souls. Then as Hercules reaches down to get her, hardly any souls are floating next to her.
Continuity: Hercules has his ribbon around his neck in the temple. As he's praying, a wind suddenly blows up. The ribbon around his neck is gone when this happens.
