Continuity: In the scene where Peter asks Harry to help rescue M. J. (from Venom and Sandman), a sitting chair appears to the left of the painting of Harry's father in the last shot of Harry. There was no chair in the other shots of this scene. The sitting chair was by that painting for all of the movie except those few shots.
Continuity: Down in the sewer, the wad of dollar bills moves away from the puddle between the close and wide angles.
Continuity: When Peter lands on the cab, MJ has her fringe all messed up and says "Peter, we'll both die". angle on Spidey, and when back to MJ she's perfectly combed and neat looking.
Continuity: When Peter is thrown against a brick wall, he produces a big hole around his left shoulder. In the close-up the hole is smaller.
Continuity: During the battle among Venom, Sandman and Spider-Man, we see a news reporter with an English accent. She is narrating the fight, standing to the immediate right of her cameraman, who is pointing his camera skyward, at the fight. The reporter begins voicing her concern over the outcome. There is a cut to a TV showing the news report, where we see her finish her thought. Except we see a head-shot of her, and not the shot of the battle we should be seeing, considering the positioning of the camera.
Continuity: When Venom is choking Spider-Man and the Sandman is punching him as a giant, Spider-Man's mask is cut and under his eye that is exposed, there is so little mask that it is about to snap. Later in the same scene, there is a lot more mask there.
Continuity: Peter opens his shirt wide to see his evil Spidey suit underneath. When the angle changes, a frame later to a close-up of his neck and face, his shirt is closed.
Continuity: When Peter and Gwen finish dancing, a waitress passes by them. Less than half a second later, from a new angle, she's repeating the movement. And a frame after that, from a third new angle, she disappears from screen as if she hadn't started walking by.
Continuity: In the scene where Marco falls into the sand molecular chamber, if you watch closely when Marco looks up in one shot you can see he is wearing a chain around his neck, yet in the following shot when the lights come on the chain has gone, and then the shot changes to the scientists, then back to Marco where the chain has reappeared on his neck.
Continuity: Before the cop climbs on the truck, he shields himself on the truck's cabin and you can easily notice the tarp is perfectly tied by a dozen strings. When he climbs up, all the knots magically untie and he manages to pull the tarp away. His buddy couldn't have done it because he always appears with the gun in his hand, covering him.
Continuity: In the scene where MJ and Peter are talking in Peter's apartment about her review of her performance, in the first shot we can see all of MJ's hair is at the back, but in the following shot a huge portion of her hair is now over her right shoulder, this happens between shots and we don't see her flick it over her shoulder.
Continuity: When Jameson kicks out one of his employees from his office for coming up with another stupid idea, Brock sneaks in through the door into his office, but if you look at the black guy in the office he is holding a piece of paper in his right hand and his other hand is in his pocket, yet in the following shot from inside the office, the black guy is now holding the piece of paper with both hands.
Audio problem: When the cop lands on the windshield of the red car, the driver starts to shout but her mouth doesn't move. If the cry had come from someone outside, the sound would have sounded muffled.
Continuity: During the crane scene, when the Captain arrives at the destroyed building, a van stops behind his patrol car but, in the immediate shots of the place, it disappears.
Revealing: During the hanging cab scene, while Spidey and Venom are falling, it's easily noticeable that Peter's face's been badly pasted on a CGI body. Furthermore, in some shots his real face has been replaced by a bad CGI animation.
Continuity: When the symbiote is trapped around the metal bars, its wild movement produces air that moves Peter's hair. However, in a couple of shots his hair is still, turning stirred a frame later from a new angle.
Continuity: When Venom explodes, from the front shots Peter covers his eyes and nose. From the back he appears covering his mouth and nose instead.
Continuity: In the scene where Brock is in Jameson's office showing him the picture of Spider-Man, Peter walks in and hands Jameson a picture, in this shot we can see Brock looking at the picture of what Peter took, and in the following shot Brock is looking directly at Peter asking him "how did he get that high".
Continuity: After fighting against the Sandman in the armoured truck, Peter sits on the indent of two brick walls. Despite him not moving, in the second shot he is sitting away from the indent.
