Continuity mistake: While Reverend Bacon is accusing District Attorney Abe Weiss, the TV remote control that Weiss is using switches hands between shots.

Revealing mistake: Our hero Sherman is talking to Maria's husband, and right after he tells a story he coughs and falls on the table dead. The thing is, he falls with his mouth open, but as he lays there on the table he closes his mouth.

Continuity mistake: Before cuckold Arthur Ruskin dies in the restaurant, his cocktail glass alternates from between his hands to outside his hands.

Factual error: When McCoy gets off the subway, we see he is riding the number 1 train and he gets off at 77th Street station. First of all, the number 1 train runs on the west side of Manhattan, no where near his Park Avenue residence on the east side, and second, there are no 77th Street stops on the number 1 line.

Continuity mistake: The morning Sherman is arrested he gets in the car with his face soaking wet. When the angle changes it's dry.

Visible crew/equipment: When Sherman is with the lawyer, when the phone rings, watch the lamp and you'll see the reflection of a crew member walking from left to right.

Continuity mistake: When the lawyer is on the phone he says "I don't know if Sherman needs a lawyer" and Sherman smiles openly. A frame later, from a different angle, he is serious.

Visible crew/equipment: While the family drinks in the garden, Judy puts on her glasses and the whole filming crew and equipment are reflected on the lenses.

Continuity mistake: When the judge orders the people to bring him the tape, the amount of papers and their position on the table keeps changing between shots.

Continuity mistake: During the trial, when the lawyer jumps on the table to grab the tape recorder, the mike and jar move around between shots.

Continuity mistake: In court, Sherman plays Maria's voice and protects the loudspeaker with both hands. When the lawyer jumps on top of him, a frame later, he's covering it with just one hand.

Continuity mistake: When stuck in the Bronx, Sherman speeds up and passes by a yellow car, but from a different angle, the cars around are white and red.
